The food is good. Service is as good as it could be, considering it was super packed. It was hard to walk through the entrance because all the people were waiting to get a table. I’m not sure if this is a common thing or this Sunday was a special occasion

Consistently, this establishment delivers outstanding service. I usually place takeout orders for my family. The convenience of online and phone-based ordering, coupled with smooth pickups, greatly simplifies life. It grants me the opportunity to attend to other tasks when my schedule is packed or I lack the inclination to cook. The only complaint would be the temp of the food should be slightly higher upon serving.

My experience at the Texas Roadhouse on 380 and Preston Rd. has been just fine up until today, August 6. It was a series of mishaps but the last one was most disturbing to me. When we arrived, I watched the hostess input our name and phone number in the computer and we were told it would be a 60 to 70 min. wait. We decided to wait in our vehicle as it was quite crowded in the waiting area. When we didn’t get a confirmation text after 10 min as we usually do, my husband went in to check and was told that we were never put on the list. Correction was made and our clock started again. We were seated and our server told us they were backed up so we expected things to be a little slow. When the food came out, 4 out of the 5 orders had mistakes. We brought it to our servers attention and 3 mistakes were corrected. My son ordered horse radish with his meal which didn’t arrive with the food. We notified our server and he asked another server to bring it to the table. When it arrived, it was creamy instead of raw which is what was ordered. After a while our server came back to the table and we asked again for raw horse radish. When our server was bringing it to our table, he stopped at the server station and stuck the cup of horse radish under another servers nose and said “that’s strong”. He then proceeded to set that same cup of horse radish on our table. Needless to say it was not consumed. When the manager was called over, all he did was say “that was stupid for the server to do” and “I’m sorry. Would you like another horse radish”?. We said yes…but that cup never came. We packed up and left. I leave this review not out of spite but to say how you treat customers matters and when an error has been made, go out of your way to make it right. A simple “I’m sorry” was not the solution.
