Took my mother to Texas Road house after coming out of the hospital from a one month stay. We checked with the host and was told there was a 25min wait. My mother walks with a walker so I definitely didn’t want to wait any longer than that. My mother couldn’t stand so she sat in the lobby on the bench. I came inside 3 times asking the status. Each time i was given different times by the host Sydney. Then we received the text to get ready. I went to get my mother to help her up and in the door and a group of 4 who checked in long after us got seated before us. When I questioned the host Sydney she said cause they came inside before us. I said you know my mother has a cane and I just came in to ask you the status. You could have come to the door or asked them to wait for us. All she kept saying is you will get seated. I said we need to be seated now we were here before them. She never tried to get us seats. I had to ask for a manager. I gave 2 stars for the host. The food was good and the waitress Kala was nice.

If I am to be honest, I have to say that the food was OK, nothing above normal expectation, no special seasoning that just made the meal something I had to order again. I have the barbecue chicken and rib combo and it was not bad, but it wasn’t a standout meal that I will never forget. The service was over the top. Two managers came to my table on two separate occasions each to make sure I was enjoying my meal. They were very customer focused. My server was very attentive and there when I needed her, but not being there too much. The atmosphere was lively, but also private where no one disturbed you. I would make a point to go there again.

It was my first time at a Texas Roadhouse EVERRRR because of my amazing friends and everything was just amazing as I expected especially the break and steak and for dessert we took home a chocolate brownie with icecream YALL- it was toooo good!!

Its a chain so if you’ve been to any of them you already know what to expect. At this Siegen Lane location, parking is horrible for the volume of business that they do which, I think is their greatest downfall. Food is always fresh and flavorful. I really enjoy their ribeyes and their potato skins appetizers. Staff is adequate but not overly helpful. Good option if you have the time to wait.

I’ve never written a bad review before this but I was so disappointed in the service my fiancee and I received on Saturday February 21, 2026.
We walked up during lunch rush and seated within 20 minutes. No problems. Our server Carlos took our drink orders and looked at me like I was stupid for asking for a drink I saw on their site but couldn’t find on the menu. This is where it began I think. He delivered our waters and cocktails without so much as a “here’s your drinks!” No words whatsoever. Then he rushed us through our ordering and I decided I wanted a lemonade and let my fiancee have my cocktail because I didn’t like it. He returned with my lemonade, slammed it down on the corner of the table near my elbow and walked away. Again, said not a word to us.
At this point my fiance saw I was visibly upset, asked for our food to go and for the manager. The manager, unfortunately, wasn’t helpful or apologetic for his server’s behavior. Actually just sent the server back to our table to tell is our food would be coming and then to hand us the bag when it was done. Still no acknowledgement of what had happened.
I can only assume Carlos saw the color of our skin and assumed we weren’t worth his time or effort because we wouldn’t be tipping? I know the service industry is incredibly fast paced and busy. We tip well for even mediocre service because I could never handle that type of stress. But Carlos did not get a tip that day and fulfilled his own prophecy. An alternative reason that ran through my head is that we are a same sex couple and he didn’t want to serve us, which is just as despicable. Don’t take a job serving the public if you have those sorts of biases. We were also dressed down, casual, jeans and t-shirts. Maybe he thought we were too broke to tip him for his efforts so he didn’t bother to try? We’ll never know for sure, but I know this experience has left a very bad impression.
I’m disappointed and hurt by both Carlos and management for how this all went down. Please do better young man, you were doing fine until you weren’t. And management did a terrible job navigating this issue as well. I don’t think we’ll be back.

Saw a lot of low reviews lately so I wasn’t sure what to expect. My experience was great. Was in from out of town for work and did an online order. The order was completed exactly when the app estimated it would be, there was a bit of a line so a very helpful young man was helping out the lady at the window handing out orders. When I got back to the hotel, I found Everything I had ordered was in the bag and the ribeye was cooked perfectly. This was on what seemed a fairly busy evening (6:30-7) so I was even happier to have ordered here.

My husband and I was passing through on our way to NOLA to board a cruise ship. We decided to stop in Baton Rouge for the night and went to dinner at this location. Had a very short wait before we were taken to our table. As always the rolls…chef’s kiss!!! I had the catfish, he had the ribs. Both of us enjoyed our meals as always, but this trip was a little different to other TR locations. The staff was top notch. From getting on the wait list, to checking in, being seated, paying our tab and everything in between. Absolutely FANTASTIC!!! I specifically want to give a shout out to our fabulous waitress, Jazmyne!!! She was everything you would want in a waitress and then some. Girl, thanks for adding a spark to these two tired traveler’s night. Be blessed.

I recently visited Texas Roadhouse and overall had a good experience. The food was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and just what you’d expect from a place known for hearty meals and great steaks. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a lively yet comfortable vibe that made the wait a bit more bearable.Speaking of the wait — it was definitely on the longer side, which was a bit frustrating. However, the staff was friendly and kept things moving as best they could given how busy it was.
If you’re planning to go, I’d recommend calling ahead or using the waitlist to save some time. All in all, it was a solid visit and I’d go back again.

The food was okay. I really liked the ribs and my dad said his was food delicious. The Mac and cheese was not giving. Plus it was my dad’s birthday and even though they give free peanuts, I feel they should still offer free dessert for the birthday person.
