This place was jumping, PACKED! They have such a great system of getting you in fast forsure. They take your name and they let you know how long the wait is and then they get your name and text you when they have an available table etc. A welled oiled machine forsure. Our waitress was Meadow, and she was on top of her game and very pleasant. They even have a manager that comes around to each individual table to ask how things are. Very personable. It was a little hard to hear each other talk, because of the atmosphere and everyone just enjoying themselves. So if that doesn’t matter to you on a first date, lol then you have the right place. Great place to visit! MEADOW you’re an AWESOME waitress, keep up the great work!!!

Food was decent- house salad is the best around so I always choose that as a side. I got grilled shrimp which comes over rice and the rice smelled and tasted like acetone. Yuck! I’ve had this dish before and the rice was good last time. I didn’t complain since I didn’t want to eat it anyway but it was nasty.

Great experience at Texas Roadhouse. Luci and the rest of the staff took good care of us today at dinner. Our party of four was seated fast. Drinks and apps came fast. One issue with one dinner plate but we were taken care of and staff was on top of refills.

Good food at reasonable prices. Especially today with prices being so high, where can you get bread, salad, steak, and sides for $25? Service is quick and courteous. Servers are trained and actually work. How refreshing is that ?

Sat at the bar to eat, we did get our drinks fast, Long Island tasted like sweet and sour mix. Had to ask two servers for dinner rolls, finally got them half way through eating. Steaks had no flavor and New York strip half of it was fat. Could not get the attention of our server. She never asked how the food was. The dirty dishes piled up on the floor behind the bar in tubs and on the bar. We have always had great food and service, was there no manager on duty last night? The bar was never wiped down between customers eating, and she was not paying attention. the couple next to us had something floating in their drink. We have sat at the bar in past visits and it never looked like this or we have never felt overlooked.

Freezing cold in wait area. Waiting only 10 minutes, server was amazing and took great care of us. Food was subpar, just blah, shrimp was rubbery, about half the lettuce was brown, chicken was greasy and corn tasted greasy and old. Normally experience is ok but this was exceptionally bad. Very disappointed in food quality. So loud you had to shout to hear each other at 1 pm in the afternoon.

Not the best steak in the Fox Valley. On three occasions we had to remind the server of options available with condiments, twice the drink order was delivered totally incorrect. Waitress was clearly angered when we split the check between two groups for a table of 5. Seriously do not understand why this place gets the business they do. Better service and food at Mad Apple, Machine Shed, Van Able’s, Mark’s East Side, Wilder’s and many others.

We had a great waitress. I like the cowboy type of atmosphere. My pork chops were a bit dry, but were very tasty. The manager stopped by to chat and apologized. I just asked for more of the pepper gravy. When you were raised in a family of nine, you learn to just eat and be thankful for what’s on your plate!
