This is a place I’m super fond of. This restaurant will definitely become one of my regulars because the food is just so delicious. There’s not a single dish that’s not tasty. You can order anything with confidence. The meat is of great quality and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the onion flower. The complimentary bread is also a favorite of mine. It’s so delicious and can be refilled as much as you like.

We were on the west side of Madison, wanted something to eat other than fast food. We remembered the wait times were usually quite long if you just show up at the restaurant, so we put our names in on the wait-list before we arrived. It was pretty packed in the waiting area, but we were already called to our table within about 8 minutes so that was pretty nice. The dinner rolls that come with the meal are THE BOMB! My daughter and friend both had the Chicken Caesar salads, both tasted very good, no complaints. My wife and I both had the Mushroom and Jack chicken sandwiches, which is what we usually get. Ours were tasty, but the chicken in both sandwiches was MAYBE a little on the dry side but only slightly. Would definitely get it again because the mushrooms are ABUNDANT in this sandwich. The server was very good, checked back in several times and brought rolls many times with his visits.
Overall a very good experience again!

The steak was delicious and very juicy, and the salmon was great as well. While waiting, they offer peanuts, which is a nice touch. The staff and manager were all super friendly. When I mentioned that my steak was a bit overcooked, they quickly replaced it without any hesitation. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!

Very inconsistent, it’s sad that every time we want to go here anymore I have to ask for a knife and fork to cut my to go steak open to check it because if I don’t then I will get home to disappointment like I have again tonight because I am in a hurry with a 30 min drive home trying to enjoy getting home and eating on a Friday night and after it being past the time of pick up anyways to be told we are still working on that and not many people where in the restaurant at that point just a bunch of people running around the back kitchen in and out in and out workers through that kitchen door, I figured they would have more than enough time to actually get the steak done. So here we are again a pink mooing steak totally far from well done I mean if they could understand how to read they would understand how to cook it’s not that hard, and under cooked potatoes from the appetizer come on people. Then when I do ask for a knife to check it out I get side eyes rolled eyes and stairs from a million and it shouldn’t have to be that way but once again here we are. Let’s just get to gos orders out the door they won’t notice it till they get home anyways. That’s the way I feel and it shouldn’t be that way. But now here I sit a $50 meal in the garbage again. And when I call it’s the same song and dance every time even when I take pics of the food show them what not, nothing ever changes with how the food is prepared. If the people in the back worried half as much about the food going out that they do chasing people in and out the kitchen door then the food would be perfect every time. Sad shame that good help is hard to find.

We went 4 people everything was good especially appeteziers snake bite so delicious. Service and server was so nice. Only think i didnt like food came little cold and my steak was dry. Its not juicy. Last time it was same too. Ordered mid-well. And also i think they should lower down the music level little bit. Overall ist a good place to go with ur family.

First time eating at Texas roadhouse and was looking forward to trying this place out. I don’t know if I eat at this location again. Server was great and she was vertical attentive. Bread was great! But the country fried Chicken was definitely undercooked especially in the middle. I did let the manager know and she gave me an apology and moved on.

HOWEVER: great food, great environment, wonderful staff. At Texas Roadhouse they always go above and beyond to ensure you are satisfied! You have to try the bloomin’ onion if you haven’t! Favorite appetizer! You get what you pay for- no complaining about that! Go and enjoy !

I’ve been in Madison for a few weeks, just visiting. My grandma loves Texas Roadhouse so we’ve been to this location twice. Chris was our server the first time and was phenomenal! We requested him again this evening and he didn’t disappoint. Very attentive, personable and has awesome energy. My grandma devours the bread and he didn’t bat an eye or show any judgement as she ordered basket after basket. Food is always top notch and the restaurant is clean but Chris was the cherry on top. Manager was doing rounds and was very friendly too, I told her how great Chris was too. Overall a great experience!

First time going here. The atmosphere and people working there were great. As was the service. Our server did a great job. But, the food was ok at best.
I ordered the Porterhouse, but it definitely was a Tbone. Vary small tenderloin. But, the steak was cooked spot on and the flavor was good. The loaded Mac n Cheese was excellent. As was the salad. My son ordered the Steak and ribs combo. He said the steak was good but the ribs were awful. Vary dry with sauce over them, i took a taste and it was like eating pressed sawdust with sauce. Vary dry and crumbly. His Mac n cheese was vary good also. My other son ordered the tenderloin and veggies it was spot on he said. I’ll definitely go back and try something different and see if we just got unlucky this night.
