ordered same items off regular menu. We had a coupon for blooming onion hors’devore & it came out promptly & fresh. My steak was a bit overdone, but tasted good, I did not send it back. Green beans always look about overdone with bacon / onions – but, always tasty. Hubby’s dinner was very good. Waitress ( CLAIRE) was checking in on us & she is VERY GOOD at her job. Friendly & prompt. After meal, manager on duty checked on us & that was nice. She gave my husband another bag of peanuts and that made dinner complete!
Sometimes it is crowded ( good thing) but it is louder in there – probably the best (franchise) location for food, service & cleanliness.
We will continue to be customers . Thank you.
It was refreshing that they had a sample of their new flavors when you’re waiting.
We did have a bit of a wait, which honestly was to be expected in the middle of the afternoon.
The Food: one of my favorite things to do when we’re being seated is to take note of other people’s experiences and food. It speaks volumes about what we order as well. The bread and butter are awesome. Our Blooming Blossom was fairly good the top was crispy and the bottom was soggy. As I love onion rings this was resolved by a napkin under to soak up the excess.
Our entrees came in fast and hot. Everything looked good and just like our first visits very appealing. My burger was great, the onions for both of our dishes were cooked with a heavy hand on the oil. The Roadkill was way overcooked and very salty to both our tastes.
The mini cheeseburgers were delightfully done for my grandson.
The Service: Talk about being on point! Even with a full restaurant, she didn’t miss a beat. We got our drinks fast, and our bread refill was spot on. And no waiting for our boxes.
The atmosphere was great as well, eclectic and interesting. The TVs were great, the ability to see some great games and still be able to talk is a major win.
Prime rib – medium rare – that’s the ticket. I wouldn’t want to get much else really as charcoal homegrown family steak at home can’t be beat. However, my husband doesn’t really dabble in prime rib and this has been the best around. You really have to enjoy the fatty goodness. Au jus and horse radish sauce goes great with it. I also do enjoy their baked potato with the oil and salted skin. Caesar salad to add some greens was good along with the yummy buns that we had no reason to add to the meal but dang too tempting to not nibble on them while we wait. We don’t get out to steak joints often since we eat that at home but that prime rib sure is a treat.
I always get the chicken critter salad…a favorite! And of course, we always enjoy the rolls!
Service is always fast and friendly!
