The food was delicious, steaks cooked just the way we asked. I had the 6 oz. dallas steak, salad, baked potato. All perfect. My husband had the ribeye, cooked perfect. It was a great meal. Service was great!

Was hesitant as we were sat in very small both by bar, but waitress quickly sat us at larger table. CLAIRE was prompt & courteous. It was 3:10 on Friday, so we didn’t get senior “special” price, but
ordered same items off regular menu. We had a coupon for blooming onion hors’devore & it came out promptly & fresh. My steak was a bit overdone, but tasted good, I did not send it back. Green beans always look about overdone with bacon / onions – but, always tasty. Hubby’s dinner was very good. Waitress ( CLAIRE) was checking in on us & she is VERY GOOD at her job. Friendly & prompt. After meal, manager on duty checked on us & that was nice. She gave my husband another bag of peanuts and that made dinner complete!
Sometimes it is crowded ( good thing) but it is louder in there – probably the best (franchise) location for food, service & cleanliness.
We will continue to be customers . Thank you.

So, I waited to post this review because I wanted to have more than one time. It was well worth the wait.
It was refreshing that they had a sample of their new flavors when you’re waiting.
We did have a bit of a wait, which honestly was to be expected in the middle of the afternoon.
The Food: one of my favorite things to do when we’re being seated is to take note of other people’s experiences and food. It speaks volumes about what we order as well. The bread and butter are awesome. Our Blooming Blossom was fairly good the top was crispy and the bottom was soggy. As I love onion rings this was resolved by a napkin under to soak up the excess.
Our entrees came in fast and hot. Everything looked good and just like our first visits very appealing. My burger was great, the onions for both of our dishes were cooked with a heavy hand on the oil. The Roadkill was way overcooked and very salty to both our tastes.
The mini cheeseburgers were delightfully done for my grandson.
The Service: Talk about being on point! Even with a full restaurant, she didn’t miss a beat. We got our drinks fast, and our bread refill was spot on. And no waiting for our boxes.
The atmosphere was great as well, eclectic and interesting. The TVs were great, the ability to see some great games and still be able to talk is a major win.

Absolutely amazing experience. They quoted us a 70 minute wait but got us in 40 minutes during Valentines! The food (we both got the sirloin) was delicious and cooked to perfection. Service was speedy and our server Kalysta took our photo at our request to commemorate our visit (our first date was here 10 years ago and we wanted to recreate the memory.) The prices are very affordable. Stunning Valentine’s Day experience.

Ate here while on business in Walford. I eat at Texas Roadhouse frequently because the food is good and reasonably priced. I sat at the bar, was waited on by Kia who asked me my name and used it during our interesting, and indulged in finger-burning rolls while waiting for my steak. She checked on me while waiting for my meal. In short order my food arrived. The steak, potato and broccoli were perfect. I met Chris as I was walking out and made sure he knew it was one of the best meals out I’ve had in a while and I eat out everyday as I travel for business. Very good. Excellent job Fairfax!

Yeah it’s a chain and some of their items are probably mediocre. However, when you have a few items that you really enjoy and seem to not find too often elsewhere -in the same form, it’s worth mentioning. The service and ambiance were great. Our server Grace was good and all the others hustling around and doing the line dancing keeps the vibes high. And the food came out promptly. It was cooked to our liking and it hasn’t been a problem the handful of times we have gone in the past 15 years. It really does take a well oiled crew and process to keep up with customers and all the complaints on getting that meat to the perfect doneness. I’d say Coralville site has it down well. I believe I even eye-witnessed a manager being very professional addressing a customers complaint most likely due to the doneness of their steak.

Prime rib – medium rare – that’s the ticket. I wouldn’t want to get much else really as charcoal homegrown family steak at home can’t be beat. However, my husband doesn’t really dabble in prime rib and this has been the best around. You really have to enjoy the fatty goodness. Au jus and horse radish sauce goes great with it. I also do enjoy their baked potato with the oil and salted skin. Caesar salad to add some greens was good along with the yummy buns that we had no reason to add to the meal but dang too tempting to not nibble on them while we wait. We don’t get out to steak joints often since we eat that at home but that prime rib sure is a treat.

My husband has gotten the prime rib last 3 visits. Excellent each time! He also really likes their frys.
I always get the chicken critter salad…a favorite! And of course, we always enjoy the rolls!
Service is always fast and friendly!

Plates for rolls were dirty when we were seated. Brought my salad out with ranch, and there was red chunks in there. Waitress offered to get me new ranch. Management did not come to our table. A little disgusted. I’m sure the local health inspector would love to see stuff like this. We also never received sides for two of our meals, had to ask for manager to comp the bill. She took $20 off as she stood behind me and told the waitress she did nothing wrong in the way she handled the whole ordeal. I know it’s not all the waitresses fault, however I know how your policies and procedures work, and I also know food safety practices. An apology in the beginning would have been nice. Or after the streaks and chunks in my ranch. And then not getting all of our food. I don’t think I will ever come back to Texas Roadhouse ever again. Especially after the owner response on my review. Do better Texas Roadhouse.

I am not a big fan of chains, but the is place does a great job. The food was really good, as was the service. Now the atmosphere is interesting, went there on a Wednesday night, place was packed. It was like a factory getting people in and out, but that did create some good energy, but still felt like a little like turnstile. It was just before the Holidays, so they were pushing hard on the gift cards. Overall a good experience and value!
