Had a great experience, I’ve been to this brand plenty of times but I’ve never seen one this busy. We reserved reservations ahead of time so our wait wasn’t bad but I’m sure if you go without planning ahead you might be shocked upon arrival. Iris helped us find a seat, she was friendly and welcoming. I was highly impressed with their attitudes, the speed of service, the quality of food and everything was priced fairly. I didn’t feel like my food was too expensive. The waiter we had was awkward. He rarely showed his face, when it came time for a tip he was reluctant to give me a pen which turned into an awkward situation with me having to ask if he wants a tip or not.

Texas Roadhouse has amazing food with varying options for meat. Their steak is some of the best! I personally love their ribs. Both are amazing choices. The cactus blossoms have good flavor, are cooked well, and come with a great dipping sauce. Give them a try. They are on the higher end of prices for restaurants in Council Bluffs but they are worth it. The staff have been excellent, efficient, and kind. Most seem to enjoy working there, but I notice one lady always seems like she isn’t enjoying it. Maybe she just has RBF, but I don’t blame the restaurant for that.

Alex was our server tonight, he did a great job and made sure we had everything we needed while our plates were still hot and fresh. The management team came by twice and checked on us. Had a 10 star visit!! Compliments to the chefs as well!

In town for business and always eat here at this location!! Last night 02/10/26 I walked in the “ To Go” room to order and take out! The gal who took my order was amazing!! Didn’t get a name but server was ; Takeout1 on my receipt! From her awesome customer service and all my requests to the cooks who did all my meal, I always order “ Rare” steaks, you guys totally nailed and rocked it all!!! Just wanted to say Thanks!! Prob the best I’ve had!!! Keep up all the awesome work!! It was one of my best experiences to date!! I’ll be back!!

We had an absolutely amazing time! There were 4 of us and our hostess seating us started the night off perfect by making us laugh out loud. Our server was fantastic and challenged our daughter to eat her full rack of ribs since they didn’t have any half racks left. She demolished it, even when her meat loving Grandpa couldn’t! She got some free ice cream and it made her night!

My family and I had a wonderful experience at the Texas Roadhouse in Council Bluffs. We arrived around 5 p.m. on a Friday and were seated within five minutes, which was a great surprise. The young gentleman who walked us to our table was incredibly kind, friendly, and talkative in the best way—he made us feel welcome right away.
We asked for extra rolls, and he brought out a fresh batch with no hesitation. Our waitress was also very kind and attentive. Even as the restaurant got extremely busy, the service never dropped. The manager checked on our table twice during our visit, which really showed the level of care and professionalism at this location.
The food was outstanding. My mother-in-law ordered a ribeye that was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and definitely generous in size. She easily had enough leftovers to feed another two or three people. My husband had the chicken fried steak, which is always on point, and he also ended up with leftovers to take home. We ordered an appetizer as well, and everything came out fresh, hot, and in big portions for a great price.
This location consistently delivers great service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. I absolutely love visiting this Texas Roadhouse and highly recommend it!

This was my first time here, I was skeptical due to weird reviews, but it was surprisingly awesome. One thing we first noticed, was the seats were messy, greasy, the plates were a little dirty, and there was a bunch of peanut mess on the floor.
Server was great, food was phenomenal, our steak was cooked perfect, seasoning was delicious, garlic butter is awesome, shrimps were cooked perfect, usually shrimp is so easily overcooked.
The bread was so good, soft, warm, delicious.
Chicken was nice and juicy, the baked potato was great, it’s too bad we got full from the bread.
Salmon Caesar salad was also very good, when it comes to a very picky eater the salad plate was cleaned.
Im not sure if we got lucky, but everything was pretty awesome.
The only downside, is that we got asked to sit on a high top, which I thought was weird when there was so many booths, but kids wanna sit higher, just harder for elderly people to get up on those high seats. Thankfully there is a lot of leg rests.
Second, we didn’t get the side chili, probably didn’t need it, but still, a ding on their part which I was really sad about, only realized after we left.
Our server was great, so friendly and attentive, hope he was like that always, since it was slow. I usually see people doing nothing when the restaurant is slow, but this guy was on top of it, minus the chili.
Overall a great experience, I’m afraid to go back and get the opposite experience, due to all the bad PR.

We ordered a wide array of food. I would stay away from the green beans because the added meat is very dry and hard to chew but the beans are coated in grease. The steak tasted like left over burnt bits from the previous steak. Normally steak is the best thing on the menu. The ribs were great and I would try these again. The rolls were amazing as usual!

I went to Texas Roadhouse with Larry and it was an awesome experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was loud, fun, and welcoming—exactly what you want for a casual night out. The food came out hot and fresh, the steaks were cooked perfectly, and the portions were more than generous. Service was friendly and fast, and we never felt rushed. Overall, it was a great time with good food and even better company—definitely a place I’d go back to with Larry again.

2 years ago, I had given this restaurant a 5 star review. Unfortunately, it has since declined. All 3 of my orders in the past 2 years since weren’t as I ordered. This time, I’m missing the bacon on my loaded fries, and the medium well burger is barely medium if that – see pictures. Finally, I purposely looked to make sure that there was still supposed to be a pickle spear with this burger, and of course, for the third time in a row, no pickle spear. I visit this place every 3-6 months when I’m in town on business. I just can’t in good faith level my 5 star review.
