This was my second time at a Texas Roadhouse restaurant. My first time was in the Brighton area and the food was fabulous, the service was outstanding. I was amazed at what a delightful experience it was for a franchise restaurant. I was excited to return! This Flint store was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I was served water with something floating in it, and asked the server if I could have a different glass of water. She was less than thrilled, even though the floaty thing was on top of the ice for all to see. Things went downhill from there. At the end of the evening, when she brought the bill, I told the server that everything was so disappointing, that if it was my first time at a Texas Roadhouse, it would be my last.
The server clearly didn’t care. My steak was delivered dried up, overcooked and barely even warm ( I ordered it medium rare), the fries were cold and looked like old dark grease and inedible. I even took pictures, and immediately asked the server for hot fries. in less than a minute she brought me a basket of fries, that looked the same and were barely warm, certainly NOT hot and again, not worth eating. But again, the server didn’t appear to care. There was a cloth napkin on the floor that we passed when being seated, and 10 minutes later, when I used the restroom the napkin was still on the floor, and a mini cup of butter was on the floor by a booth on the way to the restroom, straw papers, which many servers walked by and ignored. It was just an overall dirty restaurant where the employees didn’t seem to care or stop to pick up any of the debris on the floor. I didn’t even speak to any one about it, because no decent Manager would be okay with such a dirty restaurant where employees ignore items and trash on the floor, cold food, or overcooked steak. We never did have anyone stop and ask us about our meal or evening. My friends steak was also overcooked. I’m amazed this store is busy or even does enough business to keep open. Wow. I hope the Brighton store is not an anomaly. A total waste of time and money, but again, mistakes do happen, but you need an employee who cares and wants to make it right.

My husband and I had a gift card so we decided to go here on Friday.
It was very busy, but somehow got seated pretty quickly
The server was glassy attentive and super friendly. The food was delivered fresh & fast. The steaks were cooked perfect, and everything tasted amazing.

The steak was very good but very small like shriveled up small but very good. The rolls are to die for but the salad and potatoes not so much. And for a person with sensory issues it is wayyy to loud in there.

Me and my sister is pregnant We came here. She ordered a burger. Well well done no pink it comes out. Pink gets remade. Another time comes out even more pink. I’m still understanding, smiling and being nice about the situation because I work at a restaurant and I know how it goes and I definitely wasn’t the server’s fault the manager Allison came by one time hardly saying a sentence wasn’t very apologetic about the situation and barely had a personality like most managers would be very apologetic. It comes out the third time slapped up broken half you can tell they use the same burger and put it back on the grill, which is very unhygienic and is a health issue. I will be calling the health inspection tomorrow the fourth time it comes out with the bun bitten because she wasn’t 100% sure that’s what they were doing so she did take a bite of it and it was pink for the third time the fourth time it came out with the bun bitten and I was just fuming because this is so unacceptable with me working in restaurants I know this is not OK. I’m talking to the server being nice telling her that I understand. This is not her fault, but I am flabbergasted that A MANAGER WOULD BRING THIS OUT TO THE TABLE
The manager comes up and I let her know exactly how I feel still being respectful, letting her know we’re both pregnant and this could get her sick and we’ve been sitting here for an hour and this is not the fourth time the burger has been brought out and now with it half bitten I let her know that I’ve worked at a restaurant and this is not OK. This is not acceptable and it’s a health hazard and she proceeds to say. ” well that’s what we do here.” Verbatim. I said we’ll see what the health inspector’s thing she said you’re not gonna yell at me in my restaurant mind you I was not yelling my voice was a little shaky because at this point, I am highly upset and she’s taking no accountability and then you wanna say I’m yelling at you? She wants to tell me to get out of her restaurant. I did happily I will not be returning.

My salad was clearly made with old lettuce when i picked up my takeout order. When i told the manager she said they haven’t had any complaints all day as if my issue wasn’t valid. This salad definitely wasn’t made fresh like she kept saying. This is the second order this week that wasn’t right. The first order the steak was over cooked dry and rubbery. I definitely won’t be back.

It had been a long time since we had eaten here. They were packed when we arrived. The waitress was fast and friendly. We ordered drinks and the cactus blossom for our appetizers, thinking that we would have to wait a while for our food. We were wrong. Our food came quickly after. Our food was delicious. I’m so bummed because we didn’t get to finish our cactus blossom, and we packed it to take and forgot our left overs.

Today is the forth time in a row we went to this location and today marks the forth time they messes up my order. The other times there was something missing from the order or they had to refire my steak. They said the refire would take 5 minutes but it never is 5 minutes it was more like 20. But today we went in and tried this for our last time. Today we ordered deep fried pickles for an appetizer when they came they were Luke warm, soft and floppy and the cactus sauce had way too much horse radish in it. Disgusting!. Then our steaks came out and guess what? Both my wife’s and my steaks were not cooked right..again!. She orders hers cook medium it came back really well done. I ordered my steak medium well it came back super rare. I’m never going here again and suggested that no one else waste their money here either !.

Arranged a mini family reunion and came here on a sunny Wednesday. Took a few minutes to get seated. Server came over and got our drinks. Came back with our drinks and took our orders. SIL got the salmon and the other, prime Rib. Brother got the salmon and our friend, a large salad. It was all good. Steak was a perfect med rare, Mashed were really yummy. Salmon eateries were very happy as was the prime Rib eater. Server was good and the manager checked in a couple times… It was all good!!

Was here on January 26th 2026 to celebrate my birthday with my mom, my boyfriend and 3 kids. My oldest was super excited to announce it was my birthday to the waitress as she seen them sing happy birthday to several people that night and was disappointed that I wasn’t acknowledged but anyway that was fine and we got over it. As we was packing our food so we could pay and leave my oldest daughter found a hair in her mashed potatoes. The waitress replaced it with some more mashed potatoes but after that my daughter didn’t trust eating them and also our blooming onion was way undercooked. Love this place but this was by far my worst experience here.
