So I’m in Owensboro for work for a week. I saw this place has good ratings and I love Texas Roadhouse. But let me clarify I don’t love this one. The fact I placed my order online and it was gonna be an hour and a half before it was ready. Ok that’s fine it’s dinner rush. I work in food I get it. So I then went there when it was suppose to be ready. They were just finishing it up. Great. I asked for A1 sauce and plastic ware. (My fault for not checking once receiving) I get back to my hotel 15 mins away. No A1 sauce. No plastic ware. Ok I’ll just make do. I requested extra toppings in my salad. Nope just a regular salad. I order rolls with my meals. (Please see attached image) What kind of rolls are these?! These are the size on my basic AirPods.

Our waitress was amazing. The other wait-staff was super friendly and enjoyed playing with our 1 year old son. The food was good…but the steak was very chewy. We always order 6 oz sirloin, medium well. But it just didn’t taste the same as it usually does.

The food was good, but not great. Granted, we went at opening time, so maybe things were just hectic at that time. We did have to wait a few minutes to be seated, less than 10 minutes though. Our server was excellent, he anticipated drink refills instead of us needing to ask for them, checked to make sure we didn’t need anything else fairly often but not so often that it was intrusive. He did a really great job!

Food is great. I understand that the workers cannot control how the owners run their Business. Please fix your AC!! The girls upfront laughed off the heat inside. 85-90 degrees inside your location for well over three different visits is not normal. You are loosing my business. With your establishment being packed every weekend. Please have someone check out your unit.

Normally it’s good not today and I felt awful. I forgot my debit card I asked the Manager hey my debit card is at home can I just tell you the number etc it’s on my phone she said no they can’t do that. Really so when people call jn for online ordering they don’t pay over the phone that’s a lie they could have so my mom had drive all way here bring me my card I felt bad for. They sat in back watching me on the monitor see if I was gonna dine and dash hello if I would did that I wouldn’t have offered to even pay what a joke

Hands down the best steaks that I have ever ate eaten in my entire life. In fact everything that I ate from their was exceptional. And the staff is always nice and friendly. The only draw back to eating there, if there is any at all. Would be that it needs to be bigger, it’s always so crowded inside and out. But other than that, I absolutely love this place.

Ate here a few days ago. Steaks were good. Mashed potatoes were cold or barely room temp, I understand it being a busy night, but time temperature control should be the kitchen managers top priority! Green beans were a miss too much liquid on one plate, perfect liquid on another. There was too much bacon and onions on the green beans. When I ordered green beans I didn’t want more bacon pieces than green beans. It was a bit overwhelming. Hopefully the managers will fix this if not, the owner should find new managers
