So right off the bat we come in on a busy Friday night at 8pm. 10 min wait. Hostesses very nice. We sit in an unit room which looked like a large closet but I think they were using the storage area as a place for people to wait to be seated. The floor felt very slick and greesy. We get sat and they bring us very over cooked rolls so I asked for some not so over cooked…they brought us some more over cooked rolls just not as over cooked. Picture is included. We ordered drinks and the glasses seemed to have stuff on the outside of the glass. We were told it felt that way because their glasses were very old and scratched up. We order meals. I asked for the 12 oz ribeye MR but what I got was a very lean steak that looked med rare to rare but was tough and wouldn’t bleed. Now getting a bad steak happens but they didn’t even care how it was plated. The plate was a mess. As we were leaving we passed the kitchen and there were about 30 dishes in the window dying and the 3 guys and a girl playing around where they make the rolls which is why they were burnt and there was a hostess eating a sucker in front of the guests. I have NEVER BEEN TO A TEXAS ROADHOUSE and been so disgusted. This manager needs to get his crew under control.

We usually love eating here. We didn’t have a good experience tonight however. The rolls that were brought out were cold and it was hard to get out drinks refilled.
I ordered the portablo chicken and the mushrooms were so salty and thick I couldn’t eat them.
My husband’s steak was overcooked.

Take note fellow disabled and sound sensitive folks ..love this chains food, but the music blares in all the locations and they claim they can’t control it. I don’t want to struggle to talk to my dining partner. Sad to miss out on what was a regular treat, But it’s not enjoyable as it is now.

To be honest, this experience was completely unacceptable. We waited forever just to get two dinner plates, and this isn’t a one-time issue. Every time I come to the Pikeville, KY Texas Roadhouse, the food is nasty and not cooked at the quality you’d expect from this restaurant.
On top of the long wait, we specifically asked for no mushrooms on my wife’s sandwich, and it came out with mushrooms on it anyway. The manager comped the sandwich, but that’s not the point. The manager should have come to our table, apologized, and tried to actually make it right. Instead, our dinner was ruined and we left hungry.
I want to be clear that the wait staff is great. They are polite and doing the best they can. The real problem is the kitchen and management. The cooks are horrible, and the lack of quality control shows every single visit.
We were also told our food was delayed because there was a large to-go order ahead of us. That is not an excuse. When people are sitting inside your restaurant, management should prioritize them. If you can’t manage dine-in and to-go orders at the same time, then stop seating people.
This location has gone downhill badly. Poor food quality, long waits, no accountability from management, and customers leaving hungry is unacceptable. I will not be back.

It was my family’s first time going here and it was fantastic. Our server Peggy was super attentive and very friendly. She answered any question we had and my daughter especially loved her, since it was her first time ever going to a steakhouse. My daughter is already looking forward to going again and told me she wants to go there for her birthday next year.

My wife and I visited this location on 11/15/25 around 3:00 pm. The place was very busy. They gave us a 30 minute wait time. We waited outside and were called in and seated in about 35 minutes. The waitress was very friendly and professional. Our drink order and rolls were served quickly. We each ordered a 6 oz. sirloin cooked medium. We each had house salads that were very good. The steaks were served shortly thereafter. My steak was cooked as ordered but lacked flavor but I managed to finish it. My wife’s steak however was inedible. She spit out the first four bites. Steak was half gristle. We informed the waitress and she apologized. We got a box and took it home to our dog. Probably our last trip to this location.

My family and I went to Texas Roadhouse today since we’ve always liked the food there, but this time was a letdown. My steak was overcooked, the corn was cold, and the baked potato wasn’t much better. It also felt like they were short-staffed. Service was slower than usual, and things just seemed a bit off. Hope they can get things back on track because we usually enjoy eating here.

The onion was burned. The service was terrible. My chicken salad called for bacon there wasn’t any on there. We had to ask 2x for bread and dressings. Refills were very slow. Taking our order was very slow as well. The 2nd basket of rolls weren’t done but doughy.

Got a New York strip and my wife got a ribeye, they were both cooked perfect, salad and appetizers hot and fresh, and the beer was ice cold. Great meal, friendly staff, will definitely come back
