This is a nice, well maintained steakhouse environment. The food was good and the service was great even though the place was packed. We ordered cheeseburger with fries, buffalo chicken HOT, Steak, and chicken strips. There was a wait for seating but that’s expected on a Sunday. All and all, it’s a good place to get a meal. So I’m going to tell you the honest truth. I usually go to Outback steakhouse in the area but I’ve had bad results lately. And to be Frank, Texas Roadhouse absolutely killed it with their New York strip 8 oz the last time I was there on V-Day. I mean it was absolutely delicious. Of course the price is a little much when you tip at least 20% or more, which I advise everyone to do! These types of places I’m an advocate for tipping your waitress as they make your experience worthwhile. But tipping is getting out of hand in many forms. Again, people who serve you and do an excellent job deserve big tips. If you can’t afford to eat steak at a steakhouse, don’t go if you can’t tip.

Once a year I come to Texas Roadhouse to enjoy the ambience and rolls. Every year I ask myself “why don’t I come here more often?” The service is good, the people are so kind and helpful. The food is good for what it is and you really can’t beat those rolls. Every year, after my lovely dining experience, I get horribly sick and am reminded why I don’t come here more often. This year I am writing this review as a reminder to myself. Dear me in a year, I hope it’s worth it and don’t make plans tomorrow. Trust me.

Ordered to go like we always do. 2 out of 3 steaks came under weight, one even by half. Didn’t get half of our rolls. Food was cold. The steaks we did get were either over or under done. Food was COLD cold and each platter had to be heated for more than a minute in a microwave. We normally eat here more than 4-5 times a month so the last few times have kinda been a let down when we just want to have a good meal we didn’t have to make ourselves.

Updated to add: after this horrible experience, I contacted Texas Roadhouse customer support and they were very nice and apologetic. They apologized for the careless behavior of the manager and staff and offered a full refund for our terrible experience. They said they would coach and retrain the manager and staff after this unacceptable incident. I would still steer clear of this restaurant, but at least the support center staff was caring and professional.

I really enjoyed the service here, our waitress was Carrie and she was a sweetheart! She took interest in us and gave a wonderful conversation while dining us. She was very alert and friendly. The food was delicious!! Came out hot and ready! I usually go to Texas Roadhouse in Lexington but since I recently moved here to Richmond I decided to finally try this one out. And they succeeded my expectations with wonderful service and delicious food that filled me and my family up! I’m looking forward to coming back here very soon. I will also be spreading the word of how wonderful this restaurant is. Thanks for a great evening!

We were seated as soon as we walked in, but it took a long time for anyone to come to table. Finally a waitress walked up and asked, then sent someone else over. I’ll let that slide, I get it, it was busy. The food was good. The wings on the sampler platter were spicy!! Only downfall to this place was the temperature. It was so cold in there! The people next to us were wrapped in beach towels.
