10/10 …This location blows Hendersonville out of the water. Davia was an absolute ROCKSTAR of a server on top of our table, zero misses, and the kind of service that makes you want to ask for her section every time. The food? Clearly grilled to order, crazy fresh, and ridiculously good. They were slammed busy and still kept everything moving like a well oiled machine, plus the place was spotless. We travel all over the country trying food and this one genuinely impressed us. We’ll be back no question.

Had never been here before, Cookeville TN location, and wow! The food, the service, the food, better than what we imagined. Our server Braylee was a sweetheart, the salad was the best salad we’ve ever eaten at any restaurant EVER. Cold, crunchy and not a drop of water to be seen. The Cactus Blossom was way better than Outback, it was crunchy from base to tip, not greasy, and not sitting in a puddle of oil. It could be a little more spicy, as well as the sauce, but the flavor was out of this world on both! We had the prime rib, but probably will not order that again. Way too much fat to meat ratio for the price point, the edge was totally dried out from sitting for Lord knows how long. I wouldn’t recommend it. The baked potato was creamy with a lovely crunchy jacket. I asked for extra butter, ama extra butter is what I got! Can’t wait to try a different cut of meat. Now the star of the show is the yeast rolls with the cinnamon? honey? butter! Oh my gosh, I could just have a salad, the onion a baked potato asks a few baskets of the rolls for dinner, no entree needed! I got extra to bring home for the next day, I’m literally just going to eat the rolls all day lol Thank you Braylee for a wonderfull addition to our wedding anniversary, we had a blast, you deserved the tip you got 😉

Great food and drinks. Peanuts are now contained in bags. Bread is always warm. And the portions never fail. We had an amazing waitress who put up with our tables playful shenanigans. The wait was long because there was an issue with front check-in system and it was incredibly busy. We went the day after Valentine’s. Would still highly recommend.

They only had half the drafts that were advertised. The mixed drink menu had no prices at all, just the calories..ok, odd. Our server was new and definitely lacked any training, the food was terribly bland. Definitely won’t be back to this location and will think twice before trying any other. The rolls , that we got from flagging down a different waitress were good and hot.

I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times, and while the service is always outstanding—the waitstaff is friendly, helpful, and attentive—the food has been inconsistent.
On my last visit, I ordered the cactus blossom, 8 oz Salmon with fresh vegetables and a sweet potato, a half rack of Ribs with steak fries and a cup of chili, sweet tea, blue crush, plus a mango margarita. The drinks were great, and the cactus blossom was much better this time compared to past visits when it had a burnt flavor.
However, the food quality continues to be hit or miss. The salmon was undercooked, and I found a bone in it—this is the second time I’ve encountered bones in their fish (once with the fried catfish and now with the grilled salmon). In general, the food is often either too salty, too sweet, or undercooked. That said, not everything is bad—sometimes certain dishes are really good. But in all my visits, there’s always at least one item that’s off, whether it’s the seasoning, cooking, or overall quality.
While I appreciate the great service, I wish the food was more consistent without worrying about quality issues.

This is a very popular steakhouse and for good reason. The staff is awesome. Very friendly. Food was very good. I always order medium rare steaks because most places will give you medium. This steak was actually spot on and delicious. Did have to add some salt and pepper but no need for steak sauce here. My wife got a very well cooked salmon. We got there pretty early so was able to get a table right away. By the time we left line was out the door. They are very supportive of veterans. Instead of a cheapo eat it now on Veterans Day snack they give vouchers that are good for 6 months! Very cool
