My only complaint is that me and my party was seated right under a speaker so we had a hard time hearing each other through the whole meal. I don’t really eat steak but I figure it was appropriate for the restaurant so I sort of took a chance at the sirloin that I ordered and I’m so glad that I did. Starting from the beginning, the rolls and the whipped honey butter let me know I was in a steakhouse. The menu had lots of options but not too many. We got an appetizer and what we chose was the sampler. They don’t have very many options for this dish but they make up for it with the blue cheese dressing that they make in-house. I never even had blue cheese up to this point in my life and let me tell you, I would go back just for the dressing. I dipped everything in it except for my steak. The food was hot, the service was good, the steak was cooked exactly as I was hoping. It was a Monday night but the atmosphere felt like Friday. The buffalo chicken bites or my favorite second to the steak. I got mine with no sauce and just enjoyed the chicken and let me tell you it was absolutely delicious. Our waitress was very accommodating very generous with her time when it came to answering questions or anything at all that we needed. I will definitely be coming back here.

This was in Kingsport and everything was great. The service, even though they were super busy, we managed to get in within 5 mins. The server was on the ball, she came and took care of my wife and I with no problems. Drinks were great and the steaks are packed with so much flavor, thank you for a good night.

I noticed the restaurant floor was very dirty, with papers, forks, and plates left by the POS system. What surprised me most was watching the waitresses balance themselves, trying not to knock over the plates they were carrying in their arms. I think they would use small trays, it would have been easier to carry them to the kitchen. Drinks held in the hand, in my opinion, look awful. The service was very good, and my steak was cooked to perfection. 5 stars, minus one for the restaurant being a bit dirty.

First recent time I went, it was okay. I had to send my steak that was to be rare back as it was well done. They corrected the issue and all was well except waiting an additional 30 min on another steak. Second time, I ordered prime rib which seemingly was very old, the cheese fries appetizer was gross as the fries were just grease logged, etc. I asked my waitress for horseradish sauce as prime rib typically comes with in which she brought me an actual container of horseradish, not the sauce, lol. I’m not sure how this place gets so much business but no longer will they get mine

Had the filet, it was so soft you could cut it with a butter knife. Tasted amazing. Went on a Saturday with 5 people and we didn’t have to wait but maybe 20 minutes. Great food!

We have ordered curbside from this restaurant multiple times. Doesn’t matter the day or time. You will wait 1-2 hours for that food. I just waited two and half hours for a salad, steak, and chicken strips. Not to mention they always forget the dressing or butter. I’m tired of the poor staffing for their to go side. Then when I asked why it took so long just for it to be wrong I was asked “well when did you expect to get it”. Unacceptable. If I sat inside your restaurant there’s NO WAY it would ever take that long. I can understand an hour on a busy night but TWO AND HALF HOURS. Last straw. We spend a lot of money at this restaurant. At least one to two times a week. Never again. Unless you want to correct the flow and attitudes. We won’t be back. I’ll drive to JC before ordering from here again.

The partner and I went to Texas roadhouse today to celebrate his birthday. The restaurant was busy which is typical. The music was not overbearing and obnoxious. The lighting in the restaurant was a little darker than I appreciate but many people like to dine in the dark.
We both got the porterhouse, one with a baked sweet potato and the other with steak fries. A bowl of chili and a side salad with Italian dressing finished off the meals.
The server was amazing. She was working the bar area and was definitely able to multitask. She was extremely busy but yet quite attentive and checked in periodically to make sure the meal was just perfect and that the drinks were always topped off.
I realize inflation has caused prices to skyrocket, but we paid over $30 for a porterhouse and two sides. A little on the expensive side but still worth it to celebrate such a special occasion.

I normally am not a fan of chain restaurants, but this Kingsport location is a step up from the cookie cutter generic steakhouse. The salads were fresh, the steaks quality and nicely cooked. Our server Shannon was friendly and efficient. Atmosphere was lively and attractive, not corny and loud. Our group of 9 had a great time and a great meal.

Been here several times and have never gotten bad food. My steak has always been cooked perfectly ( well done sirloin) and has never been tough. My father prefers medium and his steak always comes how he likes it. Sometimes we get really good servers and sometimes not.

I love my local T.R. I usually go to treat myself to steak but this trip I was on a lower budget and just had a burger. It did not disappoint. Burgers are made just as well as the steaks. My grilled shrimp app came with drawn butter and of course the famous rolls and butter are delicious.
