This is a sad day for me having to say, I had a bad experience at a Roadhouse. These facilities are always the best. But not today. Our first set of rolls were tiny and dense. We asked for another. They were big, but well done. They tasted burnt. The manager lady come by, in a cheerful mood. Looked at them, and I guess she didn’t know. She said enjoy your rolls. The salads, and potatoes were great! My steak was more rare, than medium. 6oz Filet. So I ate around the edges. My wife’s 8oz strip was mostly fat, and looked more like a 3oz steak. There was another Roadhouse, right down the street. I wish we went to that one instead.

My hubby took me there for Valentines Day… one of the most busiest evenings of the year. Excellent service by a lovely women Pam ( Pamela) she was absolutely the best waitress I have had in many years anywhere. The food was fantastic and cooked perfectly.. although their was await time prior. Wehad got on the list 2 hours before.. we arrived and was seated pretty promptly as told approx time we would be text. Considering they were full house and parties coming and going for hours on end, the staff was on it and I watched every single worker do it with enthusiasm and smiles. I honestly can say Texas roadhouse is the best steakhouse in Prattville. They lead with outstanding customer service! I highly recommend this place for great service and really good food. The price of 2 full steak meals and an appetizer, desserts was well worth the price. You literally can’t get the quality anywhere else for your buck. Thank you to our server, ALL the staff and awesome cooks who rocked Texas roadhouse V-day for us all. We love you, and the food!

First time at this Roadhouse, and will not return. I ordered the Chicken Fried Sirlion and got Chicken Fried with a very small piece of Sirlion, maybe 3 inch dia in the coating, The cook had to know what they were doing, I just like to know how they did that and get all that coating to stay. Also the mash potatos were cold, the gravy was at least warm. The service was very good, but she did not fix my meal. This is a case where looks is very deceiving.

I have always enjoyed the Road Kill for $9.99. Very disappointed to see it has shrunk in size while at the same time they felt the need to increase the price to $14.99. Please look close at the size they brought a 206lb man. What a joke. And yes that’s the whole piece of meat.

To begin with the place was full, which is usually a good sign. The wait was only about 10 minutes and worth it.
while this was not the best ribeye steak I have ever had, for a chain restaurant It was very good.
The baked potato was done exactly right.
I would definitely eat here again.

We stopped here after my nieces birthday party and the service was outstanding. I do not remember her name, but I believe she was the service manager (possibly Jordan?), worked with us to add more people to our party and made sure we were all set throughout our experience. Our server, Kade, was amazing as well. We never went a moment without a refill of drinks or bread and the food came out exactly as ordered. They even brought out a small entourage to sing happy birthday for my niece in a quieter way in order to keep her calm. Overall, I was extremely impressed at the service and the speed at which we were in and out with a group of our size. Great job!

Always a great place to eat. I’m not really a steak person, but my wife is and she always thinks they have better steaks than higher end restaurants. I like their pulled pork, and their rolls and butter are delicious. Also, I’ve never had bad service there.

Charlie did a great job! My steak perfect! The only little thing was the steak sauce. The kitchen said the house brand was only thing available.
A few minutes later A1 hit the table. It was a great save. The day they stop serving A1 will be my last visit. Everything else was fantastic. We were celebrating my grandson’s wrestling win! We really appreciate everyone making it a fantastic visit!

Wow! This is how a restaurant is suppose to be run!! We ordered for starters an appetizer, Rattle Snake bites. Could have stayed in the fryer a bit more to make the crust a bit more brown but had an awesome taste. Having both the Ranch and Cajun Dip rocked it. Hubby ordered the Rib and Chicken Tender combo with a salad and baked potato as sides. I ordered the Roadkill medium rare with salad and fresh veggies as sides. The ribs fell off the bone and awesome! Of course, with hot rolls and appetizer, neither one of us could make a happy plate. The chopped steak(Roadkill ) was just perfect topped with fresh grilled onions, mushrooms and Jack Cheese. Love there was no canned anything including the perfectly steamed veggies. Watching the employees was fascinating. Everyone there had a task from the floor to the kitchen. Their advanced ordering system was absolutely amazing. Our wonderful server, Madison punched it in her computer and the kitchen engaged. Appetizer came out promptly (a bit too soon) followed by the salads(different runner). Madison was very attentive brought us a refill of sweet tea when our glasses were half right before lunch came out. I love when management walks the floor engaging with the customers. Overall, we came for a quick lunch and got that from the time we walked in from the hostesses to when we left. Highly recommend this place and will be back to try my favorite, Prime Rib. Y’all keep up the awesome job and service you’re providing. Very impressed and I don’t say that often.

Roll out the red carpet, because this place delivers full-on Hollywood treatment! If you’re not there before the doors open, you’re missing the pre-show magic. I strolled in like royalty, and BAM—my waiter was standing there like a scene from a movie, holding warm, buttery rolls like golden tickets to flavor town. I hadn’t even sat down yet and I already felt like a VIP.
Shoutout to Kaylen—the real MVP! She didn’t just serve, she performed. Her timing? Impeccable. Her food recommendations? Chef’s kiss. I went with the smothered chicken, mashed potatoes, and a house salad… but let me tell you, the RANCH stole the spotlight. Homemade, creamy, tangy perfection. Someone bottle that magic and put a label on it—I’d buy it by the gallon.
Service? Top tier. The manager was running the show like a seasoned director—every staff member was in sync, hitting their marks, and making sure the experience was flawless. If I had one complaint, it’s this: Why didn’t I discover this gem sooner?!
Must. Visit. Period. And let’s be real—it blows the Montgomery and Tuscaloosa locations out of the water. No shade, just facts. This spot is the Beyoncé of the bunch. Just saying!
