Excellent experience today! From the greeter to the servers. The salad was very good. Perfect temperature. I was hungry and I forgot to take a picture of it. The first rolls they brought to the table were cold but they quickly brought some fresh hot ones to the table. I ate some and brought the rest home. When I finished my salad. I couldn’t eat my bone-in ribeye. Excellent experience this time.

My family and I had an amazing experience dining in this evening. Reagan at the Tuscaloosa, AL location was simply amazing! She was very professional, inviting, and engaging! Ordered an 8 oz NY strip. 6 oz of hard gristle and fat. This shouldn’t have even been served. 2 managers working tonight M and K, both were too lazy to even look at it. I paid including a 20% tip (not the servers fault) and left. I’ll never come back here.

I just wanted to say that for being basically brand new at this establishment I can’t tell you how satisfied I was with our waiters service. Ronnie is very attentive and very nice. He exceeded all expectations. His commitment to making sure we were satisfied throughout the entire process was remarkable. I ordered a well-done steak. When it first came out, it looked good, but after cutting closer to the bone, it was still too red for my liking. I asked the waiter if it could be put back on a little longer, which usually isn’t an issue and normally comes back fine.
This time, it took about 10–15 minutes to return, and when it did, the steak was burned — mostly black crust underneath and several burned spots on top. The manager brought it out and waited while I cut into it to confirm it was now done, which it was. However, once I started eating it, the steak was extremely dry, far beyond what a well-done steak normally is.
I’ve ordered well-done steaks before and even had them put back on the grill without this happening, so this experience felt unnecessary and disappointing. It honestly seemed like it may have been overcooked on purpose rather than just finished properly.
That said, everything else was good — my spouse’s steak was cooked well, and the kids’ meals were good too. Service overall was fine. I just wish more care had been taken with my steak the second time around.

This review is from last week when I was in Tuscaloosa for a work conference and we were having a team dinner…. it was a very very busy hectic and chaotic night for the staff… that being said, they rose to the occasion, gave good customer service and even though we waited a long time for our food, once I got it, I thoroughly enjoyed it… our server Kennan (I think that was her name) … was awesome!! Funny enough, I eat vegan but was able to order a veggie plate and appetizer so it was all good!!

Traveling to Birmingham stopped in host was great seated us in 10min as promised. The waitress was nice but dis attached and seemed over whelmed. She had never came to check on us, we had to wait Forever just to get her attention. Never checked to see if we needed more drinks, bread, nothing. By the time she came back to the table my friend was finished with his meal, mine was burnt so badly. I had catfish with no fish just breading. Manager came over after some time to address the issue pleasant but robotic impersonal. She had the food remade asked if we wanted drinks to go and gave carbonated water. Texas Roadhouse is a place we enjoy, but this experience was terrible to say the least.
