We stopped in at Texas Roadhouse in Clermont for dinner and we were not disappointed. Fresh rolls, hot and tasting so good. Ordered our dinners which consisted of the Roadkill: chopped steak cooked to your choice, smothered with sautéed onions & sautéed mushrooms under Jack cheese with two sides. I ordered the grilled bbq chicken with two sides. So far service has been excellent and attentive. The ranch dressing my boyfriend had on his house salad was great.

Me and my pregnant wife went here last night and bought two meals. My wife ordered steak with ribs and requested that it be well done. Once she cut it open it was really pink. I talked to the manager about our issue and she immediately took it to the back. About 15 minutes later she brought it out and it was beyond burnt and dry. In addition, I am 100 percent certain it is the same steak they took back. That is a health code violation. How do you take a customers food and put it back on the grill. The way my wife cut the food and noticed it was pink looked the same way when the food came back out, the only difference is it was super burnt. And you can tell when someone puts food back on a grill by how it looks. This is the photo of after my wife started to cut it and I told her don’t eat it. I truly hope to hear back from the owner because this is unacceptable.

They catered a Christmas party for our family and everyone was extremely happy with the food. And was delivered and set up promptly on time!!! Thank you very much.

Got a To Go order this evening, my wife and I had salads. No condiments in the bag, no bacon bits. I had a salmon salad, no lemon or butter as well. Got the salad dressings that’s it. Also, my salmon was very overcooked. It appears that no one was checking the way food goes out. Finally, it took forever for your To Go person to answer the window. I was waiting there with a police officer for about 10 minutes before someone came to the window, some you guy, like dude can I help you…looks like you all are just letting the employees do whatever.

Im going to start off this review by saying when there are young children (7 & under) in a party please seat them at booths. Not at tables in the middle of the room. I took my kids and we got sat at a table. Kids are not all the same, some will sit still and do nothing and others will get up and try to move around. Also sitting 2 people at a booth ment for 6 literally right after you seat us is messed up. We were a party of 4, we should have gotten the booth. I got a steak that had no seasoning and I asked for my loaded baked potato togo & all that was in the container was the potato nothing on it at all. My waitress kept ignoring me when I tried getting her attention so I ended up paying for a loaded baked potato when I didn’t receive it loaded.

I really wish there could be better consistency on the catfish. Three filets came out more like two and a half (if that). I guess I’ll take the peanuts home to get full. My wife’s steak was also way overdone and had to be sent back which took a long time. We’ve eaten at various Texas Roadhouses for years, so I’m a little let down on this round.

When you spend $300.00 on dinner you expect to receive great meals no matter how busy the restaurant is. Here was the good. The hand cut sirloins were good. The chicken was good. The shrimp was good. The young lady was patient, understanding, and kind.
The bad: the food was very, very salty. Almost uneatable. The beef tips were overcooked, and the prime rib was nearly raw. Medium rare, not medium raw is what we asked for. There were several missing sides.
I am not one to cause a scene in a restaurant these days. Can’t trust people with food after you piss them off, right?
The restaurant lets dishes pile up too much. They need to remove old plates, cups, and dishes, to make room for the food and drinks. At one point we had dishes stacked on top of one another. They really need to redesign for larger party seating away from the bar. We didn’t want the TVs blaring, and bar chat to disrupt our meal with our children, not to mention two of us wear hearing aids. It would be nice to not be crammed and have waitresses bumping into us. It created and uncomfortable experience for me and the poor waitresses that kept bumping into me. I can’t image that was comfortable for them.
Okay so. Summary: Salt, Seating, Missing Sides, Overcooked and Undercooked Meat!

I was very disappointed with my dining experience. My steak was not cooked correctly and had to be sent back. After waiting about 10 minutes, the same steak was returned to me. When they took the steak to be redone, they never replaced the sweet potato that came with it. When I asked about the missing side, I was told they had run out — at 6:30 PM during dinner service.
Running out of a basic side dish at that time, combined with the delay and lack of replacement, made for a frustrating experience. I expected much better service and attention to detail

I placed a to go order over the phone. The person that answered the phone did not even greet me with the standard “Thank you for calling Texas Roadhouse” She did not give her name and as soon as she answered she said give me a minute and put me on hold. She then came back and took my order. I ordered the family sirloin meal and asked if it was possible to add another steak to the meal as well have 5 in our family and the meal only has 4 steaks. She proceeded to explain to me that the family meal has 4 sirloins. I said I know that is why I wanted to add another steak. So she said okay asked me what sides I wanted and at the end told me my total was going to be $77 when the family meal is only $55 and I figured to add another steak it would be like $10 at the most. So I asked her why so much? She got an attitude with me and proceeded to tell me that they have to charge me do the full 8 oz meal. I said okay I’ll speak with a manager when I pick it up, then she proceeded to hang up on me. You are supposed to get a family size salad and 2 family size sides with the family meal. I ordered steak fries and seasoned rice. I spoke to the manager about the whole bit of having to purchase another meal. She gave me the excuse of the $17.99 was actually just the price of the protein, not the price of the sides. I know this is a bunch of bullshit since my father was the manager of several restaurants and I have worked for restaurants. I explained how I was treated by the employee. The manager apologized, but did not offer any sort of recompense. She just stated that she would speak to the employee about how to treat customers. I got home and there were hardly enough fries and salad for 2 people. Don’t get me wrong the food tasted great, but the value for my money was not. Not to mention how rudely I was treated. My family and I eat at Texas Roadhouse a lot and spend a lot of money there, but that will be changing after today. I will be looking for another favorite steakhouse to eat at and order my food from. I am greatly disappointed and frankly expected better.
