It was a really good experience. Food, service, and so on were all very enjoyable. Jorge the waitress did an amazing job. I recommend the restaurant. The line was about 45 minutes to enter, but we arrived around 4:45 pm, so it was perfect for dinner time.

Amazing atmosphere, staff, and service. They were more than happy to accommodate my request and cooked up a perfect 32oz bone-in ribeye. Of course, I had my twisted mozz stix and blooming onion apps along with cinnamon butter rolls and two strawberry sweet-rimmed margaritas. 12/10, this is now my second home.

5/5 – Day 2 and Already Outstanding
Christi and I visited the new Texas Roadhouse in Mount Dora on the second night they were open, and we were genuinely impressed.
Pro tip: Check in online. We checked in before leaving the house, drove over, texted “Here” when we arrived, and were seated in less than 15 minutes. For a brand-new restaurant that was packed, that’s impressive.
The restaurant is spotless, and the hand-cut steak counter up front makes a great first impression. You can tell they’re proud of what they’re serving.
But what really stood out was how fun the atmosphere is. It’s high energy, upbeat, and lively — much more engaging than a typical steakhouse experience. Even compared to LongHorn, this felt more exciting and interactive.
Now let me talk about our waitress, Patty.
She was absolutely fabulous. She didn’t just take our order — she talked with us, made recommendations, checked in at the right times, and never made us feel rushed even though the place was full. Her timing was perfect, her attitude was warm and genuine, and she truly elevated the entire experience. That kind of service makes you want to come back.
We also noticed a manager visiting every table, which shows strong leadership right out of the gate.
Food highlights:
Mango margarita
Top shelf margarita (excellent)
Onion petals — crispy and full of flavor
12oz ribeye & ribs combo with Caesar salad and loaded mashed potatoes
Herb chicken with loaded sweet potato
And of course — the rolls. Hot, fluffy, and that honey butter is legendary for a reason.
We ordered way too much food, but we wanted to try everything. No regrets.
Bottom line: Day 2 and it’s already a 5 out of 5. Mount Dora just gained a fun, high-quality steakhouse, and we’ll definitely be back.

Two people we both had steak two glasses of wine and an appetizer 125 with tip. Not bad. The steaks were perfect. Everything else was also. Can’t say enough about Rhett Michelle Jordan and Andrea. Shout out to Tia. She cooked the steaks. Use the app to get on the wait list just showing up could be up to an hour wait we used the app and waited for less than 15 min.

This place is about to be the NUMBER 1 meal spot in the area! A family of 5 and everyone left VERY happy and STUFFED! We loved the atmosphere, the staff dancing, the kindness from servers who weren’t even serving us, everything was on point! Oh and the ceaser salad has to be the best I have ever had, was not expecting how absolutely amazing it was. We will be back and I will tell everyone to go there!

I went today for lunch and everything was beyond amazing, service was spectacular, Jorge our server was amazing, high quality service, he make sure that everything came out correct and one thing that I love is that I did not have to tell him for refill on our drinks, Jorge did it without asking and that is a plus for me.
