We visited today as a family and, as always, enjoyed our time here.
I ordered the filet medallions, and overall they were very successful — tender, flavorful, and nicely cooked. Even though a small part of the meat was slightly charred, it was still delicious.
That said, I personally didn’t enjoy the rice served on the side. It was brown in color — I’m not sure if that was due to the sauce or the type of rice used — but the taste really didn’t work for me. This is, of course, subjective, but I feel a more neutral white rice would appeal to a wider range of tastes.
My husband had the Dallas filet. The meat itself was cooked well, but flavor-wise it felt a bit bland to me. Our daughter ordered the steak kebab; the meat was good, but the tangy/spicy sauce inside wasn’t really to my taste either. Still, we all finished our meals and enjoyed the experience overall.
As a Turkish immigrant family, we come from a strong food culture, and Texas Roadhouse remains one of our favorite places to enjoy American-style food. We visit often and genuinely like it here, which is why I’m happy to give five stars and share this feedback simply as constructive input.
One small suggestion: having a direct reservation link on Google Maps would be very helpful. We usually make a reservation about 30 minutes before arriving, and it really makes the experience smoother — we’re almost always seated within a couple of minutes.
We’ll definitely keep coming back.

Perfect spot to eat since it’s right next to Tanger Outlets. It’s always packed because of the location, so pro tip: join the waitlist online before you arrive!
The vibe is classic Texas Roadhouse; loud and fun. I had a burger and a salad this time, and everything was so fresh and tasty. The burger was just as good as I remembered, and the salad was a great side. Service was super friendly and fast, too. Definitely a solid choice after a day of shopping!

I got 12oz ribeye with sweet potato and hubby got a 16oz with green beans, we both had Caesar salads and everything was great. I could have had less onions with my mushrooms on top, but it was still great. Our server was nice, and we even watch a little bit of the Super Bowl. Definitely a place I can depend on for good food.

We’ve tried a few times to come to Texas Roadhouse, but usually it’s been packed with a long wait time 45-60min. So we would end up going elsewhere. The stars finally aligned and we were in Pooler when it wasn’t very busy and got a table pretty quickly. The experience and the food was okay. I guess it was a let down for us because we kept missing out and ending up at other places, so when we finally were about to get in we expected to be “Wow’d”, but it was just okay. Nothing particular bad, but just not great either. It’s unlikely we will be back.
Steak was adequate, vegetables were somewhat undercooked, salad was servicable. The poppers were good. Service staff were attentive. Solid 3/5

Party of three during a semi dinner rush on a Saturday night. Dovie is a super sweet server that took care of us to the best she could! Even though the wait time to be seated wasn’t long, one in the party didn’t receive their alcoholic beverage for over 10 minutes after being ordered. The food by the time it came to us was very subpar. My family ate because we were hungry but it was disappointing overall due to a combination of not only cold food but also burnt food. We politely asked for a manager to explain our experience and look for resolve. Matt who claimed to be “one of the managers”, came to the table and proceeded to be very insincere, dry, and unaccountable for our experience. He essentially blamed us for not speaking up about our food which is truly unacceptable and explained we could’ve said something to any server on the floor. He proceeded to say he would take care of us and come back (while shaking his head as if he were annoyed about a customer wanting to give constructive criticism to make their store better) but instead only applied a discount on our check but never came back to the table to explain anything which is truly unprofessional. Dovie is a super sweet server from start to finish but the chances of us returning is very slim due to such a lack in creating a safe and good enjoyable environment with QUALITY food.

The pooler Texas Roadhouse was the absolute worst I’ve ever experienced. I ordered smothered chicken breast. Its supposed to come with sauteed onions and mushrooms and gravy or melted cheese. Not only did it not have the gravy or melted cheese. The o bins and mushrooms were under cooked! The only thing that was good wasthe chicken breast but not worth 15.49! The salad and loaded sweet potato also had issues. The salad was to have ranch dressing but they forgot the seasoning in the dressing. The sweet potato had so many marshmallows you couldnt even see the sweet potato let alone taste it! I also ordered the potato skins. They were over cooked and hard to bit through. I asked for the manager to explain all the issues. He was maybe 21 and appeared to not care at all. They didnt offer to discount my meal in any way shape or form. He seemed as though it was a bother for him. Will never go back!

The food is always great at Roadhouse! We had a party of 8 and made a 5:30 reserve ahead and got right in on a Tuesday. Our service was excellent, the server was rushed and not all that friendly but I’m sure she was just super busy? The music was way too loud could barely hear each other trying to have conversations. With all that said, I’m a fan of Roadhouse and have been for a long time

After years of going to Longhorn’s ,decided to drive an extra 10 minutes and came to Texas Roadhouse. Great decision. We were given great service by Bailey who is a very nice guy. The steak was cooked perfectly amd all the sides were great. Great experience. Will be back soon.
