My recent visit to Texas Roadhouse was a decent experience overall, deserving of a 4-star rating. The short 5-minute wait when we arrived was nice. The service was okay, but there were a couple of issues. Our server made a mistake on the bill, charging us for top-shelf drinks we didn’t order and insisting it was our choice. She also didn’t know the price of a margarita and had to check with the kitchen. On the plus side, the food came out quickly despite the crowded restaurant. However, it was just average, without any standout dishes. The seating was a bit crowded, making it less comfortable. Despite these hiccups, the atmosphere was lively, and the staff tried to be friendly. In conclusion, Texas Roadhouse is a decent choice for a casual meal, but it might not be the best pick for a special occasion.

The bread was good and the steak was cooked well…. and that’s the good. The bad: shrimp was cold, like not sure they cooked it cold. The baked potato was smaller than the rolls, honestly impressed they could find one that small. The chicken tenders were dryer than a middle class California lawn. Their saving grace was the excellent service from our waiter. Not sure the price of the food compared to what we got is worth another trip.

The place was busy and appeared well managed. The bread is very good. Ribeye steak was also good but came out in two pieces. My server was very professional, but the host staff needs some work

The wait for lunch was a little long but overall the experience was great. I did not get our servers name but she was excellent, professional and we waited on nothing after we were seated.

We got here during the dinner rush and it was extremely busy, but they were able to seat us quickly. The food was fantastic, but even better than the food was the service! Our waitress, Jo, was super sweet and very attentive despite how busy they were and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. There were also a few managers pacing the floor and checking in on guests, in particular there was an older female manager in an orange shirt who was also very nice and attentive to our needs. They really outdid themselves in regards to their fantastic service and the delicious food!

Great food. Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was top notch. Probably will have to wait to be seated but they have a system that will text you when your table is ready so you can wait in your car if you would like. We only had to wait about 10 minutes. If it is your first time at the restaurant ask about the special first time offers from the manager. We had the blooming onion appetizer and it was great and they had it out in minutes after ordering. The filet medallions were great and if you don’t get the rice you are able to get 3 sides instead of 2. Also our table had the grilled shrimp and catfish and they said those were excellent too. And last but not least, the rolls are awesome with the sweet butter. Definitely recommend and again our service was great!

Service was excellent, key lime margarita was very good, however, this time the steak was not very seasoned and a little undercooked.

I had been a big fan of Texas Roadhouse until I visited the Clemson Blvd location in Anderson, SC. I took the long lines to mean the food was good. I guess it meant people were desperate. My steak was tough and tasteless. My salad was wilted and soggy, and the rolls were cold and hard. I went at a time between lunch and supper. I thought the kitchen would be less overwhelmed. Instead, I think I got stuff left over from lunch. Either way, I have no intention of returning. The only good part of my visit was the bartender. He was nice and fixed my drink correctly. He wasn’t dynamic but did his job in an acceptable fashion. That’s way more than the kitchen did. I truly hope my experience was an isolated one because I loved the Texas Roadhouse in Twin Falls, Idaho.
