My daughter and 2 grandkids went for a birthday dinner. Placed our order and the rolls and onion blossom were delivered quickly. Our server was very sweet and attentive. That’s where it all stopped. Our server kept saying there was a party of 22 which held the food up. Our meals took over an hour to arrive and then the steak bites were VERY overcooked. Supposed to be medium rare. Burnt on the outside. Looked like charred bricks. (See pics). When the server checked back to see how things were I politely told her that our meat was all overdone. She sent a manager over who offered to redo the steak. By the time this order arrived a lot of the food had been eaten. The kids were starving by that time and ate the food anyway covered in ketchup. When the manager brought the new steaks she asked if we just wanted boxes to go, to which we said yes. She brought the boxes, tossed them on the table and walked away. Said nothing.!! I know the place was busy but a large party should not hold up the rest of the patrons. And the plate I got looked like it was thrown on. I can’t say I’ll be going back.

One of my favorite restaurants! I haven’t had anything I didn’t like. It’s always a HIT. I always crave their warm baked rolls and mozzarella sticks. All their foods, including appetizers, come fresh, hot and savory. True southern hospitality. The vibe of the restaurant is homey and fun. The wait time depends on the day, time and size of party. Their has been times I’ve had to wait more than 40+ min and times I’ve been immediately sat. I highly recommend reserving ahead of time. Trust it’s worth the wait!

They did not have prime rib on Wednesday night, which was the whole purpose of our entire family going. So that was a disappointment. But our server was super enthusiastic about other options which we appreciated. It was too bad they did not live up to the hype. The rib eye was good, loaded sweet potatoes are always safe. The lean sirloin was not tender. We ordered medium rare for both. The cesar salad was great and chili was tasty as well as their fried onion appetizer. As usual their soft rolls and honey butter were amazing. The server was helpful and had a great attitude.

I miss the “peanuts on the floor” era, but it’s understandable why it went away. Regardless, the bread rolls and cinnamon butter spread are ALWAYS ON POINT. The rest of the food is delicious, as well. You have to make reservations as this is the only Texas Roadhouse, I believe, in the Charleston area.

Everything was wonderful!! Food was excellent. Our waitress was pleasant and full of smiles.It was a really nice lunch for us both. I highly recommend texas roadhouse!

This is usually our go to place for a casual steak. It’s about a thirty minute drive, but it’s worth it. All three of us always get the same thing – a 16 ounce sirloin steak. We were seated by 6:30 and they weren’t too busy. There was no wait this time. We ordered cocktails and our meal. But the waitress returned to tell us that they were out of 16 ounce sirloins and would we like a 16 ounce ribeye instead. We probably wouldn’t have stayed if we were told this before our drinks arrived. The most similar steak was a NY Strip which was $3 more a steak and we asked the waitress to see if the manager would not charge extra since they were out of the sirloin. The manager didn’t come to the table but relayed to us that we could get two 8oz sirloins for the same price as the 16 oz sirloin but we decided to pay the extra money because an 8oz would most likely not be cooked as rare as a 16oz. We also ordered the Tater Skins and were told they were out of those also. It took a bit longer than usual before our steaks arrived. A different server placed them in front of us not asking who got medium and who got medium rare. It turns out that that is because none were medium rare. The steak I was served had a large strip of fat along one side. It was probably 1/4 to 1/3 of the steak. The manager came to the table at the end of our meal and took 10 dollars off the 27 dollar steak. She said that they don’t serve many 16 ounce sirloins so it’s not a big deal they were out. And just shrugged about the Tater Skins. Our evening was such a disappointment. To be honest, I don’t usually leave reviews and if I had left one at our previous visits it would have been 5 stars for the food. If we go back and it’s better again, I will leave a review again. The atmosphere is always too noisy so my stars for that wouldn’t change. And the waitress this time wasn’t very personable and never refilled our waters.
