The food is great! As a first-timer, I was surprised by the generous portions and as a Filipino, I was pleasantly surprised by the prices too . The staff were very nice and helpful, which made the experience even better.
It’s a great place to bring family and friends, especially for celebrating special occasions. The location is very accessible since it’s right along the road in Beckley.
It was pretty busy when I visited, so I recommend going early or checking if they take reservations. Definitely stop by and try it. you might just like it!

CAMMIE was out waitress, absolutely outstanding. We will request her every time. We had a wonderful experience here with our family. The food was delicious. What truly made the night special, though, was our server, Cammie. She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her great attitude and excellent service really elevated our meal. We left happy, full, and already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

Friendly atmosphere. Our waitress was on top of it the whole visit. The food was really good. I really enjoyed the fried onion with cheese sauce and Mac and cheese. My husband devoured the ribs. Great dinner out option with the family, and I say this because our waitress was very kind to my youngest who doesn’t handle outings very well, especially so close to bed time.

Another gluttony adventure at TRoads was a success. Rhi Rhi gave us 52 rolls and after eating them I didn’t really want my meal. Low key the appetizer combo isn’t that great but when in West Virginia.

Of all the chains steakhouses that I have been to, Texas Roadhouse is my absolute favorite. The rolls and butter are unbeatable. And yes I know, every steakhouse has them. But this cinn

We were going to go exercise, but decided to try Texas Roadhouse. I don’t know that we have experienced such a welcoming first-time experience anywhere else. Our server, Isaiah, was the right amount of attentive. And the food was great. We will be back.

Husband and I each got 12oz ribeye.. his was thin looking and he said it didn’t taste good (he didn’t eat much), I got mine medium rare and was fine with how it was cooked but it just didn’t taste good. The loaded mashed potatoes we got weren’t good either. The best part of the meal was the rolls and the chili cheese fries that were burnt on top. We were there around 8:30pm and it felt like we were being rushed in a subtle way… we won’t be going back. We’ve had Texas Steakhouse in our state and it was so much better.

Texas Roadhouse is usually pretty good for a steak house chain. This one we ordered a pick up order and I was disappointed.
We got two bone in rib-eye meals. House and Caesar salads. Fried catfish meal, blooming onion (they call it something different), and various sides.
The steaks were undercooked. I like mine rare and my wife likes hers medium so more of a her complaint then mine. I understand bone in is harder to cook and usually more rare then you’d expect but hers was bad enough she had to give it some more cook time when we got home. Not something you want on a $100 meal. Chili was the soup of the day and was basically Wendy’s chili. My loaded mash potatoes were missing half the fixings. The bacon was the one that upset me the most. Salads were salads but I felt skimpy for what you normally get. The blooming onion and catfish were really good.
Also if you never been here before the steak sauce is more of a sweet almost barbecue style so if you’re more of an A1 person just be prepared for that.
Would I eat here again? Yeah but not for take out. With how much the food cost and them making simple mistakes I’d want to be able to send my food back or ask for what they forgot.
Another thing is the parking lot in general very tight. Pick up spots are little tough to get into if you got a bigger vehicle and if you got a big truck just park on the far side or behind the place.

I ate here my very first time Saturday 10/11/25 with my boyfriend and it was absolutely awesome!!
The steak was so tender it cut and chewed like butter and seasoned perfectly. The baked potato was delicious. The only thing I didn’t care for was the steamed broccoli, they didn’t season it at all so it tasted nasty.
Our server (can’t remember his name) was great! He took good care of us and kept making sure we were satisfied with our meal.

Today 10/14/25 took my boyfriend here for his 60th birthday dinner.
I want to send a shout out to our server Aaron, he was awesome, very friendly and a definite people person!
He made our meal and time there awesome and fun!
There must have been a different cook this evening, the steak and mushrooms were overcooked, not at all as tender and easy to cut as the past meal. It wasn’t horrible, but we were very disappointed.
I brought my daughter with us for her first meal there and one of her friends. I was telling them how awesome our meal was Saturday. This was nothing like it, they were not impressed.
I cooked for over 30 years and I always say the food is only as good as what a good cook can make it.
I won’t let this keep me from going again but hopefully it will be better next time.
