Valentines Day, 2026, Williamsport, PA. Not making reservations, was going somewhere else where the wait was at least an hour. Across the street was Texas Roadhouse. He said he would rather wait an hour there than where we were going to go. Was told the wait would be 15-20 minutes, no problem. It was probably close to 30 minutes…again no problem. We were led to our table by a gracious host, we chatted along the way…she had a great personality. Waitress arrived, introduced herself (name was Hannah), extremely pleasant. Food was incredible. Having waitressed myself early in my life, I watched them dealing with the crowd. Manager (sorry forget name), even came and checked on things. I told her as well as Hannah, that I was extremely impressed with everyones professionalism. Their coolness. I told Hannah I hope she can enjoy Valentines Day later and she informed me was working 12 – midnight. WHAT? Incredible. Check came, yep females can pay too (lol) since I invited him. I’ll be honest I don’t look at prices, I know its all good, I was expecting over $100. Only $82 !!!! Thats only $41 a piece for a great steak meal. He loves sweet potatoes, which he got, and he said that was a meal in itself and can’t stop talking about it. If your on a fixed budget….seriously put back a few dollars every week and give yourself a treat. You will NOT be disappointed at all. One last thing, I gave a generous tip (cash), she thanked me…took our plates away, came back out because she was so thankful for the amount I gave her (she didn’t realize how much). She gave us a Valentines Day to remember, and it was worth it to me too.

Whoever was cooking today severely overcooked my country fried sirloin. It looked like beef jerky. I can’t believe they thought this was okay to serve. The manager, Hailey, however, was very understanding & professional & got me a new one made immediately. At least it wasn’t a total loss.

My wife and child’s food came out perfect. I ordered a steak medium rare. Came out blued. That them cook it more. Came back tough like they cooked it in a microwave. Got a baked sweet potato and it was hard in the center. Waitress never brought a water to the table. Disappointing food and service for $100 bill

Great service. We got there around 6;15pm and didn’t wait long even though we didn’t get on the waiting list. Food was good depends on what you ordered. Fillet + porter house were excellent! Pork chops was good but a bit dry. Steak kabobs were too chewy. Steak fries are yummy! Food did take too long to come out. Price is decent.

This evening my husband and I ordered take out from Texas Roadhouse. We’ve dined in and had takeout several times and always had a great experience! Tonight start to finish was a far cry from that. I went to pick up our food and waited several minutes after pressing the bell in the Togo room. 2 other customers came and after pressing the button 2 more times, one of them went inside to let them know we were all waiting. Finally someone came, was very friendly and gave me my food.
When I got home we started into our cesar salads and they forgot the croutons. Not a huge deal but a little disappointing. Then we dished up steaks. We both ordered the exact same meal, Fort Worth ribeye medium rare. I dished my husband and it looked great. I went to dish mine and was shocked. It was completely burnt and the middle didn’t have any pink. It was like a hockey puck. We ended up split the steaks so we could both have some of the good one. Picture shows 1/2 of each steak. We both were disappointed. A $75 takeout meal is a splurge for us. Next time we choose to spend that kind of money, we will order somewhere that’s more reliable.

Service was really bad. I know it was busy, but wait times were more then an hour even when people were told 30 minutes.
Took forever to place an order and that is after you flagged someone down to take your order.
The manager was extremely unprofessional. (She had a blue shirt on) and she was telling customers including to my husband that the bar tender has anger management issues and talked about a lot of the employees there and had no problem pointing them out.
Food was good, that was a 5 star, but what good is having good food when you have horrible unorganized service?
I would really think twice before coming back to this location.

Been wanting to eat at the Texas Road House for years. Finally went last Friday night. Couldn’t eat my sirloin tips they were so tough!!! Nice manager didn’t make me pay which was so nice. The rest of our party got prime rib, it was so good. BUT, a 16 oz prime rib was at least 1/2 fat! We had a good time though. Don’t know if I will go back. I remember getting sirloin tips at the Wrangler years ago, they were soooo good. It was very crowed. Our waitress was very nice & worked very hard.

Typical of chain restaurants, I had had a good experience once but it must be a fluke. My steak comes out burnt, not just well done but so overcooked it was inedible. I hate to ask because it’s like I’m the bad guy when I return a steak. Seriously, you’re a steak house, get it right the first time.
Appetizer was gross. Sides were cold. Why should we have to ask for them to be reheated. Kitchen obviously inexperienced.

Why the four stars? Because they’re a chain and not perfect but they get service just right! I dig the take area because it’s separate from the main restaurant and dedicated JUST for carry out. Super convenient! Kendall I met today at that area and she solidified my position on their service: 5 stars. Just quick, easy, and fast! And friendly obviously!

When we arrived they said it was gonna take 2 hrs wait time to get a table for two, mind you there’s ALOT people coming and going in/out of the door. And we were on the wait list. When the 2 hrs was up we went in to see why we didnt get a table yet and they said it will still be 35 mins. We will definitely not be back at the williamsport Texas roadhouse ever!! They need to get faster waiting times and faster service to get customers in and out as fast as possible. I was raised in a restaurant I know how it is. But over 2 hours is freaking ridiculous. There were people getting a table right away that showed up way after us!!!
