Texas Roadhouse is an awesome place. The food tastes awesome and the prices are reasonable. I believe there’s a special Monday through Friday from 3 to 5:00. The steakes are super soft. The bread, the sides, the salad dressing plus the rolls are made fresh everyday. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is also good, though sometimes, between the music and the patrons, I can get pretty loud in there and hard to hear your companions. I would definitely recommend going.
It gets quite crowded later in the evening and it’s especially crowded on the weekends. I would recommend calling or going through the app and joining the waitlist.

Alyssa, you absolutely killed it! We stopped by Texas Roadhouse after 3 years, and you made it feel like a home run from the start. Your introduction was like a warm hug – made us feel instantly welcome! You expertly guided us through the menu, and the combo appetizer was the perfect choice (it arrived faster than we expected, btw! ).
What really stood out was how you handled the chaos – the place was packed, but you were on it! The manager checked in, which was great, but you were the MVP. When you came back to take our order, we went with the ribeye combo with ribs, and it was phenomenal.
We travel the island trying new spots, and it’s clear when staff go above and beyond – you did! Thanks for turning a regular dinner into an amazing experience, Alyssa. We’ll be back, and we’ll be asking for you

I would like to start by saying that the staff was remarkable as the waiters and owners stopped by each table to ensure that the customers were receiving the best possible service at this establishment.
We ordered the 14oz Fort Worth ribeye steak. Each was ordered to our preferred temperature, however, I didn’t stick to my guns by ordering my normal medium rare cooked steak, that was my fault.
The owner Kristen, saw the displeasure in my face and without hesitation replaced my meal with a classic medium rare beautifully cooked juicy steak.
The hospitality was top tier with that most unexpected accommodations.
This is what great customer service in the food industry should look like across the board.
If ever you in the Seldan area and interested in having a good tasty steak plus potatoes, I implore you to eat at this Texas Roadhouse.

The atmosphere at Texas Roadhouse is lively and casual, great for a relaxed dinner with friends or family. The famous complimentary honey‑butter rolls are a highlight and always a crowd‑pleaser. Many people enjoy the steaks and grilled dishes, though quality can vary by visit. Overall reviews for the chain sit around average, with some guests loving it and others feeling it’s just “okay” compared to other steakhouses.  Service can be hit or miss — some servers are friendly and attentive, while others can be slow or inattentive.  Portions are generous, but some diners feel the prices are a bit high for what you get.  The place tends to get busy on weekends, so waits can be long without a reservation.  A few guests complain their steaks weren’t cooked as requested or were tough.  The sides and appetizers are solid, but not exceptional.  It’s fun if you’re in the mood for classic American steakhouse vibes with upbeat energy. Overall, it’s decent for the price, though not the best steakhouse you’ll find locally.

I gave 4 Stars for atmosphere bc, well it’s Texas Roadhouse. The people behind us had screaming kids. It was a Friday night of Valentine’s Day weekend. That was not why we were there, we went for the food. We were a party of four. We were able to hear each other talk comfortably. They were definitely interested in turning over tables in a timely manner. We weren’t rushed, but we also knew other people were waiting for us to leave.
I don’t think THIS particular TR could have done anything differently. I think it’s the nature of this type of restaurant.

Great, family style restaurant with a warm and comforting atmosphere. Perfect for families with kids. Nothing l beats their steaming hot rolls and butter. Typically come here for prime rib because you can’t get it everywhere, but also love the fried pickles and other cuts of beef as well. Nice location and lots of food for the price!

Texas Roadhouse in Selden is our home away from home. We have been going from opening day when my son was only 2 months old. 5 1/2 years later and everyone knows him. Kristina is one of the best owners around. Sam D and Charlie are some of our favorite servers and bartenders! Always very attentive and remember all our details. Carl, and Brielle are also fabulous. Then you have BILLY, who always makes it entertaining. Another manager from day one Crystal is always greeting us with a smile on her face. There are also a bunch of hosts that are always super friendly and accommodating. We enjoy being regulars and seeing everyone weekly.

Not going to lie, I love this place so much. It reminds me a lot of Red lobster when it comes to getting high value food at reasonable price points. Service is always spot on and everybody is always happy to be there. Food is unreal, everything is always perfect

It was a wonderful experience Emily the manager introduced herself to my table where I was seated with my son and daughter in law we ordered a scrumptious meal I had 20 ounce ribeye with baked potatoes and string beans my son had a large sandwich and sides his wife had an equally scrumptious dinner.thrcwsitress was superb our drinks were refilled promptly extra bread being a veteran I was afforded an acknowledgement for my service and to my amazement a whole crew sang happy birthday to me with a pie a la mode it by far was the best fining experience ever. I usually go elsewhere for our monthly luncheons with our former executives we have just changed that because of this wonderful experience.Bravo Emily you and your staff outdid yourselves
