Food was okay. I would suggest regular Texas toast for the brisket sandwich. Moist meat had way too much fat pieces. Sausage seemed steamed, it was good tasting though. Cheese curds very good, but small portion. Service was great, very helpful lady.

Food was fantastic. Excellent selection. My wife loved the coconut shrimp and I had the brisket sandwich. The beans were homemade as was the peach cobbler and both delicious. The staff could not have been friendlier. Would highly recommend. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but the inside was clean including the bathroom.

I looked up the best barbecue near me and this was a 4.7 rating which is pretty high. I asked what was good when I walked up and he told me everything. They were able to accept card and tap and I saw a picture of a steak of potato and green beans and that was a special so I decided to order that. They asked me how one of my steaks so I told them I wanted a medium. I received my food fairly quickly. I also had a tea which tasted pretty good and was made with filtered water, thankfully. When I received my steak, it was a ribeye as I posted in the photos here it was a little bit fatty, but it was extremely tender, and it was extremely juicy, and it was extremely delicious. I really enjoyed it. I recommend checking this spot out if you’re on your way up to San Antonio or on your way down to the valley or just passing through.

Called ahead asked if they could cater to a group of 35, they easily took us in and were ready to serve us as we drove up. They gave us great meal options for our school team on their way home for their last meal! Food was delicious, Thank You to the owners for their awesome hospitality!

Stopped by here on the way from Corpus Christi to McAllen and the food was amazing! The brisket and the ribs were both delicious and they were seasoned perfectly and so tender. The owners and staff are so pleasant and have great customer service. This is definitely a great stop and I highly recommend!

Wow , we were in the middle of no where saw this place caught our eye , people were amazing so sweet atmosphere was so calm and relaxing the food was delicious. Steak was huge and soooo good would definitely come here again !

I found this place on maps. If you are in or around the area, try this place. They are very welcoming. They have lots of choices to choose from. I enjoyed my brisket mac n cheese that I’ve been craving . They Have much more so I must go back and try something else . There is outdoor or indoor dining area so you can eat wherever you choose. Can’t wait to go back .

My family go-to every time we travel. Their delicious seafood combo with perfectly cooked fish and shrimp served up with a side of creamy coleslaw and those irresistible hush puppies. They are my favorite. And, don’t even get me started with the seafood gumbo, it is hands down the best I’ve ever had, and the pricing is really good too. My kids are obsessed with their wings,and my two teenagers love the brisket sandwich, while my husband’s favorite is the seafood boil, . So it’s a win-win for everyone.

Spacious with plenty of seating. They have a section where you place your order, at the counter. This place has no AC. After placing our order, we were offered to dine in at the adjacent building that does have AC. We were taking our food to go, so it made no difference to us. They also offer drive through service. For those dining in, simply sit and the food comes to you. I liked that they had complementary shelled peanuts. I ordered a large loaded baked potato. Brisket was great. I also ordered a small mack n cheese to taste it. Didn’t care for the mac n cheese. I will definitely be coming back to try more things from their large menu choices.

I love coming to this restaurant. The food is always cooked to the right temperature. The loaded brisket potato was so big I got full by the time I ate half of it. The two meat plate had some great brisket because it was moist and tender. The sausage had the right snap when I ripped it and it was spicy and cheesy at the same time. The atmosphere was so good because I could breathe the fresh air when I am eating. The service was great. When the y asked for my order they wrote and took note of what the order was. I also ate in their Air conditioning room which was a nice experience.
