The cold/salad/hot bar had a wide variety of fresh vegetables, appetizers, dips, deli meats, cheeses, and hot sides to satisfy any palate..
The variety of meats offered included parmesan crusted pork, garlic sirloin, lamb, chicken, bacon wrapped filet mignon, beef ribs, tri-tip, among others.. The available temperatures ranged from medium rare to well done, which again satisfied all preferences at our table..
We finished things off with a variety of desserts.. The key lime pie, chocolate mousse cake, and the Brazilian cheesecake being among the favorites..
All in all, this Texas de Brazil location offered a wonderful dining experience.. For me, this might be a quarterly treat, but I must say that my wife and I did enjoy our first visit here..
I arrived a little early and waited at the bar, and the bartender greeted me immediately. I ordered a Brazilian Kiss and it was so good. Once my friends arrived, we were seated and the servers explained how everything works, which I really appreciated.
The setup is simple and so fun:
Grab your items from the salad bar
Sit down and flip your card to GREEN when you’re ready for the meat
Flip it to RED when you need a break
Eat as much as you want — it’s all included in the set price
The gauchos walk around with giant skewers of meat and slice it right onto your plate. They rotate nonstop with things like:
Filet mignon
Garlic sirloin
Flank steak
Lamb
Chicken breast wrapped in bacon
Brazilian sausage
Everything was delicious and they just keep coming until you say stop!
The salad bar alone is incredible. It’s not just lettuce — they have things like shrimp, smoked salmon, charcuterie, pasta salads, fresh veggies, soups, and so much more. And you can get as much as you want.
The hot sides are included too:
Garlic mashed potatoes
Fried bananas
Brazilian cheese bread
Fries
And a few other options
Everything was glorious. You only pay extra if you get cocktails or dessert, and the value for the amount and quality of food is amazing.
Overall, this was such a wonderful experience and I will most definitely be going back! Highly recommend! ✨
Considering the price per person I was sorely disappointed. We brought it up to our waitress and she tried to help but had no effect. We brought it up to the manager and she said she would try to fix it for the next time we come in…. This was the first time I left this restaurant and I wasn’t fully. Sad part is the they place was not even very busy.
We love the food, service, everything about the place. Unfortunately for this location it was a far cry from the nice, clean, outgoing locations in Texas. The doors are filthy when you walk in, I don’t think anyone ever cleans them, a first glance we tried to appreciate the appearance, but once seated and up close it was horrible. We were sat & the guy didn’t seem to excited about his work, no big deal not everyone has a stand out personality. Then we got our waters and headed to the salad bar. Whoa, that was gross. The lettuce, (all of it wilted) some of it brown, and should have been tossed, go ahead zoom in the photos. You can’t tell but some of the food (meat) had a dried out appearance, as if it needed to be changed out after sitting too long.
The cheeses scattered, not very clean, appealing, or a very appetizing sight to see. The little rolls were hard, the first cut of meat reeked & tasted like spoiled meat, so I spit it out. The only 2 meats I enjoyed was the sausage and the bacon wrapped chicken. The lamb was bland, the filet was cold but tender, the sirloin burned to a crisp.. The servers both table servers and food servers, all seemed bored and stood at the bar most the time chit chatting about drama in their lives or complaining about who called in or quit. None of them smiled. The whole time. I am not even convinced any of them wanted to be there. We Will never return to this location and I’m disgusted it cost more than $150 for lousy food and service. This location is a polar opposite of the locations in DFW. Those I would not mind the prices. We even passed on dessert, which we don’t usually do. I would have been more satisfied tossing my money in the trash. Greatly disappointed!! Do not recommend!!
We look forward to returning here soon and will gladly recommend it to our friends and family.
Also a bit disappointing they no longer offer the complimentary birthday cake. After a $200 dinner for two, that little touch would have been nice.
