Highly recommend. This was my 2nd visit and this time it was to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The food and service were top notch. Looking forward to going back. ETA our table was near the mall entrance door and it was open which caused a draft, otherwise once you’re inside you forget you’re even at the mall! Great time.

My husband and I went to Texas de Brazil to celebrate my birthday. The experience started off rocky, but thankfully ended on a high note. Our first server, Eddie, unfortunately set a negative tone. He came across as very nonchalant and uninterested, as if he didn’t care. He gave us water but didn’t ask if we wanted anything else to drink, then walked away and disappeared for about 10 minutes without checking back in. I ultimately decided to go up to the host desk to request a different server.

Thankfully, Colton completely turned the evening around. He was phenomenal—extremely attentive, friendly, and truly went above and beyond to make sure I had a great birthday dinner. He even covered the backs of our coats with napkins to keep them clean and brought me a plate with a candle for my birthday, even though I was too full for dessert. His friendliness and attention to detail made all the difference and helped us to enjoy the rest of our night.

I love this place! Their side dishes offer such a variety, and they have a separate side for hot food choices like rice, beans, and soups. The chef was more than willing to tell us how their cheese bread was made. There was a variety of meat to choose from. My only complaint is that there was not a fish option. The best part of our visit, however, was our server, Colton. He made sure we had everything we needed, he was outgoing, personable, and genuinely cared about our comfort. I feel the food and service are well worth the cost .

Food was absolutely delicious. Nothing tasted anything but wonderful. The service was amazing and our server. Eddie was hilarious and on top of things, It was our 46th anniversary and when our server found out he ran into the kitchen and did this real quick before we left. The photo is of the plate that he decorated.

TL/DR: Long wait for reservation due to overbooking, sat at table near restaurant door where the cold air blows in constantly. Mostly forgotten about by servers, but when they did come they brought overcooked and chewy meat. Paid $180 for 2 people for and it was a horrible meal/experience. Not worth it.

Review:

We went on NYE, you can decide if that was my mistake or not. We had a reservation for 7pm. The door area and dining area in front of the entrance was jam packed with people waiting for their tables, they too had reservations. There were so many people that they began to stand between peoples tables! Servers were not able to bring them food due to all of the people standing around and forgot about tables waiting for their checks. They clearly overbooked and didn’t care about people experiences, just their $60 per person they were getting.

We finally sat at 7:30/7:45. Right next to the entrance door where people are coming in and out constantly so it was freezing. It was 22 degrees out and I could feel my food getting cold. I had to put my jacket on while we ate. We must have been on the wrong side of the restaurant because you could hardly get anyone to bring you anything. When they did bring you something it was overcooked and too chewy to swallow. I didn’t get much variety either, how many times can you bring bacon covered fillet over when there are many meats to choose from. The salad bar and hot bar were a desolate wasteland of scraps. Lots of empty dishes waiting to be refilled.

When I had gotten up to go to the bathroom, on the other side of the restaurant it was a completely different atmosphere. There were plenty of servers, it was super warm, and it just genuinely looked like everyone was having a great time. Perhaps the layout of the restaurant needs to be rethought as our side was quite cold and forgotten about.

I paid $180 for 2 people and I don’t think I’ve been more disappointed in a meal/experience in my life.

Service inconsistent. Had to wait forever for meats to come around. Waited even longer for the steaks. Had to ask numerous times for filet mignon. We did not receive several of the cuts of steak and saw other tables being served them!!!! Meat overall very salty and quite fatty. They use boxed mashed potatoes which is laughable. Salad bar is ok, but every item seemed to come straight out of the freezer. Desserts were served 1/3 of the size of the samples they show you. Cheese bread was good. Mushrooms and gravy good. Spicy picanha good. Sausage good. As for the ribs and top sirloin? Who knows, we were never brought those.
