One of the best bbq spots in San Antonio!!!
The loaded baked potato with brisket is one of my favorites! The brisket is always so tender and flavorful! The potatoes they use are also HUGE and sooo yummy! The portions are amazing especially for the price.

Excellent service and everyone was super friendly! Great prices! Brisket was tasty but! The ribs looked good but somehow lacked flavor. They did throw in a piece of turkey but it was too dry. The bbq sauce was good.
Macaroni was peppery and yummy!
Star of the show was the sweet potato casserole but that was just a nice bonus. I came for the brisket.,

Posted 2 pictures of 2 separate dates that my family and I decided to eat from here and both times we got the Family pack for 4. First time we ate there at the spot as you can tell portions were nice, lots of meat of all 4 choices. But the second time we got it to-go. We didn’t open the plates til we got home cause this was before the Super bowl started. What we got was disappointing, portions looked for only 2 people. I don’t know if there’s a difference from eating there and/or taking out but for $68.99+tax? The food and service was great both times but for the second time going and that’s what we got in food portions?

From as soon as you walk till the moment you leave the service is by far the best I’ve ever seen.
They offer a brisket grilled cheese which is looks grand, I’ll have to make sure and try that on the next adventure. All the meats hit the spot and are cooked to perfection. This should always be the spot to stop for all your barbecue needs.

First time going here. The brisket was good as well as the bbq sauce. Cole slaw and Mac n cheese was good. Fried pickles were over cooked. The baked potato looked amazing, but the potato itself was over cooked. Portions were sized well. I averaged $20/person. Wait time was about 10 minutes, but there wasn’t anyone there as it was early before dinner time.

TEXAS COUNTRY BBQ absolutely delivers. The brisket? Melt-in-your-hands perfection. The mac ’n’ cheese? Creamy, cheesy, no notes. Even the fried fish surprised me, in the best way. Add in friendly, down-to-earth service, and you’ve got a spot that proves good food and good people still exist.

I have to start by saying: what a nice place, delicious and full of kindness from the owners and everyone who serves us. From the moment we arrived a man greeted us, like when a relative sees you arriving at their house and greets you with pleasure “hey welcome” that’s how we felt then while we waited he approached us to chat with us and we realized he was the owner, he kept talking with everyone who arrived, when they brought us the food they had a good view but when we tasted it we said how delicious!! the flavor of each bite was super delicious, the owner was so kind too and talked with us and we told her that everything was delicious, also the sweet potato casserole which was a delicacy to our palate, I want to finish by saying that the place was super clean and the bathrooms impeccable, super clean, the place in general was like sitting in the patio of your house, eating with your family and entering the bathroom of your house. Thank you very much for everything! When we return from our trip, we’ll definitely stop by this delicious place for lunch again!! God bless you
