First and foremost my server was exceptional. She had a large party she was serving and I wouldn’t have known if she hadn’t mentioned it. She was very attentive and friendly. I ordered a large salad and it had just the right amount of ingredients so that each bite had a good selection of items. But the show stopper was ridiculous, the Texas Size Chocolate Cake!!! The slice of delicious, moist, dense cake was at least 5 inches thick!! The frosting was generously spread between 5 one inch layers of cake as well as the outside, it was so rich and creamy. And instead of serving it with a fork they serve it with an oversized tablespoon, or as I called it “a small shovel”. It was perfection on a plate .

Was there last night before heading back on our journey , to say the least the best part of the meal was my salad ! My medallions were good , however the wait for rolls or drinks was a bit much , then we receive our meal and my friends steak was grey with grill marks on it , it looked like it had been boiled and then grilled for marks….fat was not trimmed off . It was not a grilled steak . My friend ordered a loaded sweet potato and got a loaded baked potato … it was my first time but I don’t think I’ll be back … it’s was a 100.00 meal that I’ll never get back .

Stopped for a late lunch with my neighbor at the Portage location. I ordered the pork chop dinner she ordered a sirloin steak dinner. Food came out quickly, both were tasty but my chop was a bit tough. I also love their carrot cake dessert & ordered that to take home. Overall it was a good experience, food was OK but not their greatest. No comparison to Texas Roadhouse right down the street

Let’s start with the sweet tea. It was truly sweet as tea should be and came in quart Ball/Mason jars! All of the Texas style steak houses start out with some type of roll. Theirs was just ok, but I really liked that they gave us regular and cinnamon butter. Nice touch. I ordered dumpling soup and it was fantastic! Next I ordered a T-bone steak extra well. Most places don’t know how to do this and either undercook it or burn it. They not only got it right the 1st time but checked with me to be certain it was cooked correctly. Bonus! Unfortunately it was flavorless but I used their spicy ketchup for steak sauce. Finally I had the chocolate cake. It was so huge 2 of us ate on it…twice, before we could finish it. Overall a good experience.

There is ample parking. There are several booths, as well as the bar, for seating. The wait staff is friendly and efficient. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. The portions were enormous! Pricing is fair. The alcoholic drinks are refreshing. Handicapped accessible entry and seating. Most important, this restaurant is clean! I will eat here again.

The only negative thing I had to say The waitress were nice to your face , but they all talk behind your back And come out to look at you and laugh and talk about your nose ring or tattoos or happen to be iteracial couple and not look like the Local locals.

The experience overall was good . The food was fresh and came out fast . The server was super nice and was constantly keeping up with refills and keeping our table clean. The tea was delicious! Ribs and shrimp were awesome ! My wife had country fried chicken and it looked good too. Only downfall was the onion flower was undercooked but they fixed it ! We will return again

Eh. A mostly empty parking lot on a Saturday night is a cause for pause. But hungry n tired, we decided to risk it. I ordered a Long Island iced tea, which I’d very much been looking forward to. It was sickly yella n tasted nothing like an LIT. More like an old watered down soda. I’d ordered the ribeye n half rib rack. Salad was good, tho quite a bit o dressing. My meal came n it was just the steak. Waitress hadn’t specified the split order. OK, whatever. Not that picky, really. Ordered a strawberry margarita next. It was awful. There was a glob of strawberry concentrate in the bottom of the glass, the rest was clear. Obviously not stirred, nor with much booze, as was the LIT. SO n I got headaches after drinking these “cocktails” n surmised it must be from cheap, poorly made drinks by the waitress. :/

Laid back atmosphere can dress up or down and be comfortable. Staff is courteous, informative and well groomed. Food has always been excellent. I never had a unpleasant dining experience here.

I bought 2 full slab of ribs. And 2 chicken dumpling soup and 2 sauté mushrooms. Tje dumpling soup was absolutely horrible and very small portions. The ribs were small amd very thin. Taste wise not very good. Mushrooms didn’t look sautéed at all. Overall I would never ever go to this place ever again
