From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed with big smiles, which instantly set the tone for a great experience. The food was true comfort food—just like home cooking—fresh, filling, and full of flavor. The biscuits were delicious, and while I would’ve loved a little more gravy and slightly crispier hash browns, that was completely on me for not asking.
We’ve been making it a point to try new local spots and were so happy we stumbled upon Texas Cafe Diner. It’s small, cozy, and has that classic hometown diner charm that’s hard to find. Paying by phone was quick and easy, and while there is a 3% card fee, the overall experience more than made up for it. We truly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back!

Britney & Eddie were phenomenal! I wanted a specific sandwich & it was perfect! The avocado & spinach grilled chicken was the best! The home made ranch was way better than other restaurants! I bought ranch for my kids! I am definitely coming back here! Ya’ll are awesome!

A friend and me went to breakfast there on a Saturday. It was moderately busy. I had gotten the chicken fried steak breakfast, wasn’t prepackaged, which was excellent. It came with 2 eggs and hash browns toast. My friend ordered 2 pancakes with bananas on top with eggs and bacon. The pancakes were big, he couldn’t finish them, but said it was delicious. The server was nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend a visit.

I ordered migas, expecting them to say “alright” and that was it. Instead, they asked how I wanted my eggs (bad sign) and what breakfast sides I wanted with it. The migas came out with plain canned black beans, and the texture and taste of the eggs was as if they had scrambled the eggs on their own, with no sauce or seasonings. The pancakes were fine, and the hash browns were alright. There are better places for migas, and after that experience I’m not sure that any of the other food they’re serving isn’t some variation of plain eggs and canned or jarred sides.

Texas Cafe Diner is a great place to get breakfast and lunch! I was visiting family and traveled from Kansas. We had breakfast and it was very good. The employees are very courteous and helpful. I highly recommend this place of you’re looking for a delicious breakfast or lunch meal!

My wife and I decided to try out the Steak since they have a large “Steak” flag waving out front. We both ordered the $28 Ribeyes and everything was going great. The place was nice, the music was early 90s/00s songs, the waitress was great Then we got our food. The waitress seemed immediately concerned and as she sat our plates down asked if everything looked okay. I said everything was fine and hoped that the Steaks tasted better than they looked (Check Included Picture). Unfortunately, the only word that comes to mind when attempting to describe these Steaks is… Gelatinous. The amount of soggy fat that accompanied the equally soggy meat was alarming. We ate what we could muster courage enough, tipped our waitress, payed our $80+ ticket and left. The only reason I didn’t give this place a 1 is because the waitress was so great.

The food was absolutely delicious — everything was fresh, hot, and made for the perfect breakfast experience. Unfortunately, our service wasn’t quite as good. Our server tried to memorize our order instead of writing it down, which led to a couple of mistakes. Thankfully, another team member stepped in and quickly made things right, ensuring we left happy. Overall, the food was amazing, and with a little more attention to service, this place would be perfect.

Great new place in town for breakfast or lunch! We had breakfast. Very good food. They did a great job on the remodel—much more seating than when it was the previous business. Such a friendly staff. Check it out!
