Great pit stop for lunch! Brisket and pulled pork were very tender and well seasoned. Coleslaw had a great crunch and tasted very fresh. Mac and cheese was slightly undercooked but also tasted very fresh. Portion size was generous; the two of us shared a 2 meat platter + jalapeño popper. Would definitely stop by again!

This is a wonderful place to have lunch/supper. The food is delicious! The counter staff are very personable and very helpful. The chicken was fantastic. It was tender and juicy. The brisket was a hit! Bun to meat ratio is perfect. So many different options to choose from. Choices for the sides include potato salad,coleslaw,baked beans and Mac and cheese. Lovely seating area along the water. There are a number of picnic tables with umbrellas for shade.Big beautiful trees provide more shade. Pull up by boat or by car. Plenty of parking for transports.

My wife and I stopped in on the way to our daughter’s soccer game. The service was amazing and everyone was polite and was very professional and nice. The food was great we really enjoyed the brisket and pulled pork. We had a number 13 which had a great selection and was fairly priced. We will stop in again for sure.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It’s my first time visiting BBQ Texas and I really liked it. The people who work there serving the customers are very friendly, and the food is delicious. I think the price is fair for what it tastes like. The meat is delicious. Congratulations, that’s why they get 5 stars. And they explain the menu they recommend us the hamburger thanks for everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This BBQ joint was AMAZING. Food was tasty, great smoke, and not dry. Everything you want is a good meal. If i had to make one suggestion, loose the bread and replace it with cornbread!!! Or upcharge for it, we’d buy it. Otherwise, keep up the amazing work folks. Thanks again and hope to see you next year.

After months of hearing about how amazing the food was, finally decided to drive out and try for ourselves and we were not disappointed at all!!
The Ribs, SO SO GOOD, right out of the smoker, and every bite was to die for!! The Brisket, so juicy and tender, broke apart so easily! And finally the pulled pork, just as good as the first two! And the homemade sauce to tie all together, just absolutely incredible! 5 stars is not enough, this food broke the ratings system!!
Also, the staff could not have been more welcoming! Such incredible service, Roy came to check on us and ask how we were enjoying the food (I think to see more than anything if we were still breathing after so much food ).
And the seating outside with the music playing and sunshine, it was a picture perfect day for Texas BBQ!! Will definitely be returning soon to try even more, the chicken most of all next time around!!

Oh my what a treat!
The meat was perfectly tender, little bit of sweet with the bbq sauce, great seasoning, and paired with the coleslaw, which had a nice little zip and wasn’t overly saucy made for an absolutely perfect lunch experience!
Brought me right back to the best bbq I had previously in Austin Texas which turns out is where the recipes come from.
The hospitality of the staff and the gorgeous Riverside location all made for a wonderful time that I plan to re-create each time I am passing through.

We discovered this restaurant during Canadian travels and ate there twice. The team members were all super nice. Roy, the pit boss, was extremely helpful in preparing take home meats! I lived in Texas for 35 years and love brisket and ribs. I had brisket on my first visit. All three of us travelers loved it! I couldn’t believe I could get genuine Texas brisket in Canada! The second visit I had to try the ribs. They were perfect! Many thanks to the owners and their team. You have the kind of restaurant everyone needs and will enjoy.

Well what can I say. Absolutely amazing owners, unbelievable food and such a welcoming space. It’s a must stop and eat. There is plenty of room outside but limited dining in. There is also a drive-through and loads of parking space outside for RVs. When you see cops eating here, know it’s great value and quality; always a great sign. Our pet dog even got a taster! I suggest going for the 4 meat combo as it will give you some fantastic flavors.
