We were excited to try out this American themed restaurant. Unfortunately, it seems like the restaurant runs on the gimmick. While the venue looks amazing it was a mission to get the attention of our server. We waited an hour for the deep pan pizza (which we were warned about and was happy to accommodate) only for the pizza to come out dry. The burger was average, at best.

Their food portions were big and super tasty. The deep fried pickles were surprisingly really good.
Albert, our waiter, was super helpful and friendly. He was willing to answer all our menu question and recommended some great, unique options. He also let us know how long each item on the menu would take to arrive.

Music is good (80’s/90’s), fairly quiet atmosphere but that could be because it wasn’t busy. Food was great, we had the Mac & Cheese balls, Chicago deep dish pizza, a burger and chilli cheese fries, all were good, no complaints at all. Albert, our waiter was friendly, well versed in the menu and all round on top of things. Checked up on us when necessary, but not too often. Definitely going back.

Very cool atmosphere with good unique food. We had the fried pickles, mac-n-cheese balls and a deep dish pizza. Highly recommend the pickles. Sounds weird but so good.

Food was amazing ordered 1 Texan Delux Deep Dish Pizza, 1 Cajun Chicken Deep Dish Pizza and I can say 1 slice for myself was totally filling extremely cheesy and tasty, to drink we ordered a coke and lemonade. Calling in for a reservation is recommended to secure your spot without any disappointment and would also suggest to everyone considering ordering a deep dish pizza to call and order an hour or so in advance to avoid the wait.

Wow wow wow, Texas American was a great experience from start to finish. The food was fresh, flavorful, and very filling. Portions were generous and the menu had a wide range of options to suit different tastes.

The service was excellent. The staff were friendly and quick to help. Our waitress Tumi was outstanding. She made sure we had what we needed, gave clear answers about the menu, and kept the energy positive throughout the meal.
The beer choices on tap were impressive and added to the value. Along with the food and service, it showed that Texas American pays attention to detail. The overall quality matched the price, which made it worth every rand. I will gladly come back again.
