Wow! The best restaurant in Corpus Christi! I ordered the salmon cooked medium, a load baked potato, green beans and stuff mushrooms. The kitchen is an open flame and the salmon was delicious. The bread was light and fluffy. The waitress was Chelsea who was fantastic. Chelsea checked on me throughout the meal, refilling my tea and bringing more bread. Definitely ask to be seated in Chelsea’s section. Highly recommend Texas A1 Steaks & Seafood of Corpus Christi.

We were passing through and wanted to try something new. Straight to the point; you’ll get better steaks at a Texas road house. It was pretty empty and our waitress took awhile to attend us. Don’t get me wrong the food looks good, but it was a let down with the flavor.

Not our first time here, but may likely be our last time. I got the A1 ultimate burger, they did make it medium rare but it’s already been almost 24 hrs later and 3 times since i brushed my teeth and i still have the taste of burnt searness in my mouth. U can’t see the outside of the patty with all the trimmings but when i took it off yup, there it was. Burnt patty on the outside. I wouldn’t have fed this to my family or friends if i had a bbq. I should of complained there but decided not too. Our waiter never kept us waiting for anything, he was pretty awesome n i do enjoy the atmosphere there. Oh the calamari was alright.

This place was small, but very inviting. The restaurant was super clean and for the most part, quiet. The food was delicious and seasoned with perfection. We will definitely be there again.

We ordered the steak and shrimp, a burger, and the baby barbecue ribs. Everything was really good except for the ribs — the sauce had great flavor, but the meat was a bit dry. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and would order again, just not the ribs next time

I am giving this review for multiple reasons, been coming here for years, and years and have had little issues here and there but this one is worth noting.. I ordered a Berry Nut Steak Salad that use to come together but now the salad is 13.99 and you have to add the steak for 10.00 more dollars, plus a couple extra small charges which I still don’t understand. Total for one salad was 28.00 for A SALAD!!!! Full acknowledgment that prices have gone up on everything everywhere I do understand that, but for a salad with some steak on it, it’s a bit extreme. If that was not bad enough my steak was NO WHERE NEAR 8oz it wasn’t cooked properly and was ruined, the salad was a side salad… it was awful but even worse than that was the way the manager Dave handled me and the situation!! I brought him in pictures and videos to show him but instead of apologizing and handling things like a manager he proceeded to blame me for not contacting him sooner I ordered this salad at 8-9pm yesterday but by the time I got home to eat the restaurant was closed and I work all day so when getting off work I came right over.. I didn’t know if you get a 28$ salad that rules were in place if the food is bad.. Dave did have the salad remade incredibly reluctantly… I know the owners of this restaurant and I hope they read this review. I have never written any kind of bad review about this restaurant. I love it, but I will not be back ever again.

Ok where do I start. I can start by saying that this place is awesome. Theu really new how to cook a steak. The service was great the prices were really good and did I mention they new how to cook a steak. Amazing variety on the menu really good appetizers and the sides for the main course. I’m eager to go back and try more off of that great menu. Hope you try this place because I really do recommend it.
