UPDATE (Original review 3 weeks prior): The menu has changed since then! Its a bit more fleixble on the combo as it gives you regular Jokbal, spicy, and then Bossam and you just choose 2 out of 3 of them! We also tried this spicy soondae thing and liked it a lot! The spicy jokbal was nice if you like a saucy and more intense flavor. If you like the subtle flavor, go regular as its seasoned already.
They were also out of Jokbal when we arrived for dinner, and took 30 minutes for a fresh batch. Thats understandable and luckily they had Bossam available so we just ordered that to start!

My parents wanted to come here and we were hesitant at first since we don’t really eat Jokbal, but it was delicious!
I wasn’t sure if it was just braised or braised & steamed, but it was super tender and flavorful! We did the combo as we wanted Bossam to be safe, but the combo was enough for the 4 of us (we don’t each too much). We got the paejon as well and that wasn’t as good as Chodang’s but still decent and huge! We felt the value was very good here and will come again to try the spicy Jokbal!

Went in for buljokbal- spicy pork feet! It always satisfies my cravings, has the perfect flavor and kick. Also ordered bossam combo which was a good portion of the meat, dwenjang soup, and various sides for dips and wraps.

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately the food was disappointing. The menu is very limited — almost everything is pork, with the only beef option being short ribs. I didn’t even bother trying those because I was already let down by the dishes I ordered. The flavors just didn’t hit the mark, and nothing stood out as worth recommending.
The service was another downside. Not sure if I caught them on a bad day, but the server was short with me and came across as rude, which made the experience even less enjoyable.
Overall, not somewhere I’d be excited to return to. Plenty of other Korean spots in the area with better variety and much friendlier service.

Best pork feet I have ever had. The original flavor is amazing! The meat is so tender. The portion is huge. My friend and I only finished half of it and got plenty to go… love this place!

Food comes out quick and fresh. I had the bossom and it was a good size and tasty. The seafood pancake was also very good with a lot of seafood and crispy exterior.
It got super busy very quick and they were receiving calls for parties of 10&12 and talked very loudly how other customers were already in their seats and such, which made me feel rushed to get out.
Other than that, overall good service and tasty food.

I had so nice experience at Texas Texan Wangbal. The food was really good, especially the jokbal and kimchi. Also my friends said half and half jokbal, spicy jokbal, and Budaey jungol were good as well. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The server, Youung, was so kind and made the whole meal even better. Definitely a place I’d come back to!

Ordered to go. Bossam was excellent. Banchan were good. Spicy jokbal was unfortunately disappointing. Not separated from the bone and mostly just fat and bones. Nothing like the regular jokbal. Not sure if I got a bad batch or they just decided not to try on this order. Hopefully others get something better.

‼️DO NOT COME HERE ‼️ The old ladies serving are incredibly rude and judgmental. We ordered a medium bossam for 3 people and she was mad bc we didn’t go with a large. She tried to tell us a medium would not be enough. Like girl are you eating it or us?! Why are you telling people how much food is enough or not enough? Mind your business, be nice, and just take the order. I promise you can find better and more authentic bossam elsewhere! With better service. They’re only nice when you’re ready to pay. I could not wait to get out of there and never come back yuck

The food was great, but the waiter accidentally charged our card for another table’s meal. Yes we paid for our meal and other table’s meal! They didn’t give us a refund right away and instead asked us to dispute it ourselves. We submitted a dispute through the bank, but the process is still ongoing, and it could take up to 160 days. This is so frustrating. Why should we have to take care of their mistake?
