My first time here but the place has been around I believe over 10 years. We met the owner and she was super nice. I know that they give back generously to the community and local schools and have done so for years.
It has a nice, open floor plan and clean decor.
The owner steered me toward the Santa Fe omelette and I was not disappointed. We also got the more simple Breakfast Special #1.
Overall I enjoyed it very much and they deserve the slew of high reviews they already have.

Had breakfast with my daughter. Excellent service by our waitress. I noticed they had police and firefighters enjoying breakfast. I am a veteran and I guarantee you they treat everyone excellent. I felt right at home. They do offer a military discount. The food was so delicious. I recommend this place.

My husband and I tried this place for the first time and it was pretty good. It was a Sunday so it was a packed, but we didn’t have to wait longer than 10-15 minutes. We both really enjoyed the pancakes, chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy. Our server was sweet and fast.

Their food is so good! Seriously! We had the poutine which was true to the dish with Texas flavors. The Cajun omelette was amazing, and finished it with the Butter Pecan Pancakes! So so good! Going home with a stack of boxes and looking forward to good leftovers later! The service staff were kind and attentive. Truly loved it and will be back!

Food was served shockingly quick.

I ordered the veggie omelet and they allowed me to add grilled chicken. It was all fantastic. This is quite honestly the best Breakfast spot in the dfw metroplex. I have never had a bad eating experience.

I ordered several pies for Christmas Eve, and they were completely unacceptable. As you can see in the picture, the pies were in terrible condition. The bananas were rotten, and brown the cookies were soggy and stale. To make matters worse, the manager was extremely rude when I picked up the order, and even more disrespectful when I returned to show them the issues. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience

I thought I reviewed before, but we’ve come here on multiple occasions. Every time it’s been clean, bright and it’s a pleasant atmosphere. Everyone that works here is friendly, the food is hot and fresh and they serve big portions. I highly recommend coming to the Texan Diner.

So my husband and I went for breakfast. The coffee was disgusting and very watery unfortunately. His brisket was tasteless and my gravy for my biscuit was so overly salty I couldn’t finish it. But the homemade biscuit was very good. Everything else was ok.
