Texadelphia is the home of the “Original Texas Cheesesteak.” We start with the highest quality, fresh ingredients. We make each and every cheesesteak to order and top it with a signature house-made sauce of your choice. All of our cheesesteaks, burgers, salads, and deli sandwiches are served with complimentary tortilla chips and fresh salsa. It’s how our founder did it, it’s how we do it. It’s our passion. It’s what we’ve been doing since 1981. When our founder moved to Austin from Pennsylvania in 1980, he brought with him a desire to create and serve great food in a place where everyone is treated like family. He brought with him his great love for Philly’s favorite sandwich, but served it with a Texas twist.

Our kids love this place! We recently tried the wings and they were delicious! Personally I would pay to upsize the kids meal if it were an option. My 10 yr old loves the corn dog nuggets but could use a larger portion. It’s a 5 minute drive so we will be returning!

Super disappointed coming here. Was fairly expensive for food that was mid at best in my own opinion. I ordered the cheese fries and the cheese was so runny it barely covered the fries by the time the basket of fries was finished I had over have of the cup of queso left. Wasteful. Definitely could make the cheese thicker or bigger basket. Food was okay. Not really impressed sadly.

Definitely over priced for what you get. Philly was average, but a 6 inch for $11? Subway has the same sandwich, but it’s twice the size for that price.

I ordered a cheesesteak, and honestly, I’ve had much better. The food came out cold, and the cheese wasn’t even melted into the sandwich. Overall, it’s a nice spot, but the food quality could use some improvement. I might give them another try and order something different next time.

I usually don’t like fries and loved the waffle fries. Unfortunately though everything else was gross. The frozen margarita has more sugar than needed in an entire pitcher. Too sweet. Couldn’t drink it.
The hippie chick was okay but the French dip was the worse I’ve ever tasted.
Maybe we just don’t know what to get there?
Anyway the fries made it two stars. We absolutely did not believe this lunch held up for value at 40$.

Overall it was a good place to grab lunch with business associates. You had to order at the counter and they deliver to your table! We had a super friendly order taker, I didn’t get her name but she was really nice.
My group completed their order and then I ordered a 1/2 Chicken & 1/2 Beef plate of Nachos. I would definitely recommend those!
My choice for lunch was a Regular South Philly – to be honest it lacked meat. In my opinion there was just not enough to satisfy my Philly craving. 3 of us had the South Philly, one chose a salad and the other had Chicken Nachos on Waffle Fries. Everyone was satisfied with lunch!
I realize that this is no Tony Luke’s or Pats King of Steaks but it’s gotta have more meat! The bun was perfect and held up well!
Restaurant was clean and everything was a self serve, drinks, sauces,etc. This is definitely worth a visit!

Tried this place out after we looked up restaurants nearby and we were already in the parking lot. We saw pics of the food and of course had to try it out. Definitely was impressed by the service and flavors of the food. I’m not big on dipping my subs but the French dip was so tasty.

The staff at the counter suggested the nachos. This place is very clean and very inviting. The beef nachos are very good but it wasn’t enough for two if you were hungry. if you’re just kind of hungry, it is enough for two and so I purchased the South Philly and previously (Tamara Green) commented, said it was a little dry. it is, but if you try one of their sauces with it, it actually makes it a little better. I like the place, I was concerned about parking but there’s free parking. And as seen in the pictures, they do serve beer here, and other soft drinks. Including sweet tea, and unsweet tea. Its a good stop.

Sandwich was very dry. It was supposed to have cheese whiz on it and sauce but couldn’t detect any. Regular sized sandwich is fairly small compared to other Philly places. Flavor was good just dry. Waffle fries were great.

I’ve eaten here quite a few times over the years and they serve consistently great food! Today there was something off with the salsa-it’s was gelatinous for some weird reason-but otherwise everything was tasty. My kids got milkshakes as well that they enjoyed. If you’re downtown, I highly recommend stopping by Texadelphia!
