Delicious food. The birria pizza is fabulous. So tender, moist and favorable. A huge portion. Mike had a steak quesadilla, a la carte. Tortilla had a nice crisp. Steak was tender and seasoned well.
Chips and salsa are both very good. They bring a verde and picosa upon request.
The service was top notch. The restaurant is very clean. We hope people frequent here so they can be successful. We live about 45 mins away but will stop when passing through.

Walk in to the combined aromas of Fajita and Barbecue! I dined alone at lunch and had the barbecue nachos! They were excellent and plentiful! A great bargain at &11.99. Restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. We are in Gluckstadt a couple of times a week and need to place this place a regular stop!

I stopped in for a beer late, it was almost closing time. I was just wanting a quick beer, and instead of Barley’s, I stopped in to check this out because it’s new. The menu looked good, but I was just browsing and ordered a Dos Equis. Alejandra greeted me with a smile, I explained I wasn’t going to eat nut just have a beer. I asked her how the birria was and she said she loves the birria. I said I would come back and try it. She went and grabbed a bowl and brought me a taste. I’ve been in the restaurant business for 30 years and although food quality has to be good, it’s hospitality and the people on staff that truly bring folks back. Alejandra was genuinely kind and hospitable, I’ll be back to order that birria soon!

Miguel and crew are the best. Very hospitable and the food is amazing. I love their street tacos with pastor (pork), chorizo (spicy sausage) and shrimp including avocado and shredded cheese but I’ve also rolled my own with a hybrid happy plate with all the veggies and rice and beans. You won’t be disappointed!

Tex Mex Barbecue is one of those rare spots that actually pulls off both sides of its name and does it really well. Their BBQ is legit, with smoky, tender meats that taste like they’ve been doing it right for years. At the same time, their traditional Mexican dishes are just as good, full of flavor and clearly made with care. You don’t often find a place where BBQ and Mexican food coexist this well, and that’s what makes this place stand out.
Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions you get, which is always appreciated. On top of that, the service is excellent. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they care about the food and the experience.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for something a little different that still absolutely delivers.

This place is amazing! Miguel is great and takes great care of you! The brisket with their homemade BBQ sauce was some of the best my husband and I have ever had. The fajitas were also better than anywhere else around here!

The fundito app was delicious but the server didn’t bring us any cups or tortillas to eat with it. We had 3 different servers visiting our table and asking us the same things over and over. One of them walked up to our table with no introduction and blatantly says “what do you want”? Two servers asked if we wanted the check and neither brought it to us. We waited for almost 30 mins to get the check and had to flag people down and go to the counter FOUR times to finally get it. Also, two different servers asked if we needed to go boxes and neither one of them actually brought one.
The food was good but the service was chaotic, disorganized and honestly kind of rude.

We ordered 2 pulled chicken sandwiches and they cut one breast up and put it in a pan, the brisket was supposed to be a sandwich as well and all we received was a piece of brisket no bread for anything. We paid over $50 for scraps and things we never received. I’ve called multiple times to make them aware of the issue no answer everytime. This is unacceptable!
