Established in 1934, we are the second land owner and the third business owner. This is THE local watering hole. We offer more than 65 ice cold beers to quench your thirst. Karaoke on Friday, Saturdays and Sundays starting at 8. Nothin but good times to be had here at the good ol Tervan.

Gotta give it at least 4… it’s divetastic. The ‘Tervan’ is legendary in Sandpoint as a must-stop try it out for a cheap beer, hang, people-watch/talk, and roll to the next spot when downtown. If you’re looking for up-scale, good quality food with amazing service… go somewhere else. If you want legendary dive that’s easy to hang with zero pretention…. this is your place.

Was recommended this bar from our cab driver so thought we’d check it out. We’re Canadian and didn’t know it was cash only so when we asked if they took credit card the bartender acted like it was the most ridiculous question ever and treated us poorly even after we hit up the atm. Eventually she warmed up a bit but was mediocre service. Cool atmosphere otherwise though.

Well, if you smoke cigarettes a lot and coming with smoking adults to drink beer – your place. Bring money notes, write something and staple to the wall or ceiling. For me – didn’t work: can’t get rid of cigarette smell from my clothes for two days-to small room far all smokers-hard to breathe. Bartender….mmm ok. Should talk to guests (it’s why people sit at the bar), specially new ones.
