I have been a regular at Terry’s but a few weeks ago the Karaoke DQ hit on me and I turned him down. I returned a few weeks later, I immediately went to the bathroom,
to change my tampon, when my friend went to the bar the bartender said I was cut off because I was tumbling and I immediately went to the bathroom. Although I went to the bathroom, I was yet to be drinking. Later in the night, I was holding my boyfriend’s beer while he went to the bathroom (not drinking it at all, I hate IPAs) and a random man snatched it out of my hands and says I’m taking this. I used to be a regular at Terry’s and have experienced very intoxicated individuals and the staff has not cared. It’s known as a dingy dive bar to the point I’ve seen vomiting off a bar stool and they have never cared. Good place to go until someone makes you uncomfortable and then make you feel like complete garbage.

Terry’s is a local favorite, known for its stiff pours, karaoke almost every night and extremely cheap happy hour pricing. Some call it a dive bar just because it’s an older, small, cheap, basic and simple bar that focuses on just good service, good prices, good people and not filled with fancy stuff. They have a few TV’S always playing sports, a Touch Tunes for your enjoyment, 2 pool tables, Golden Tee, darts, small bathrooms, and smoking on the side patio. Bring your ID, don’t be shy and step up to the bar to order (cash or credit) because when they get busy they don’t typically do table service…. And plan to Uber home if you’re making a night out of it.

Terry’s seems like a nice bar at first. A simple little karaoke dive bar. However. The bouncers take your drinks before you are done with them. They kick people out or cut people off for no reason. To top it off we reserved a table. Not everyone had shown up yet. All of a sudden the bouncer ripped our reservation off half of our table and let others in. When I asked what happened to my reservation, they said all bets are off after 9:00. I asked for that spot a week ago. Terrible service. Terrible people. Will never recommend or return. Treat your customers with respect. So un organized. Bathroom is disgusting. Employees are creeps and jerks.

Terry’s is one of the best dive bars in the Treasure Valley. The bartenders especially Sam and Amber are very friendly, karaoke every night of the week, and you can’t beat the drink prices. And nightly specials make it worth visiting whenever you want to have a drink with friends and belt out a song.

Took 15 minutes of standing at the bar doing everything I can to get someone to get my drink order even though each bartender made eye contact with me at least three times while i gave out signs from a slight wave all the way to waving a $100 dollar bill and still ignored. My friend and I are currently being ignored with empty drinks and him signalling with the passion of someone lost at sea. I wont ever come here again, try at your own risk.
