Kafil our server was welcoming and went above and beyond! We had a fantastic early dinner and were excited to have vegan options! The wine pairing was great and ended with delicious mint sorbet!

We visited Terroir Restaurant & Wine Bar for our anniversary dinner, located inside Strewn Winery, and the experience was unforgettable. To our surprise, we were the only guests dining at the time, which made the evening feel incredibly intimate and romantic. The space is beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully designed — every table is set to perfection.

Our server was exceptionally polite, attentive, and friendly. He guided us through the menu, helped us choose the best dishes, and paired the perfect wine to complement our meal.

My partner ordered the beef tartare with salad and protein, while I chose the beef tenderloin steak with cauliflower purée and Brussel sprouts. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. We enjoyed them with a bottle of 2020 Three Red Grape Blend Premium Wine, which was the perfect finishing touch to our evening.

My only suggestion would be for the Restourant to display the price for the wine bottles or let a customer know the price before ordering. We were happy with the wine but it was unexpected $125. My partner is getting prepped for fitness show and didn’t want to drink, but I did so I said let’s get a bottle, however if I knew the bottle would cost $125 I would have went with another choice and only ordered a glass.

Great overall experience! The food quality was what we were hoping for, and the restaurant had nice decor and lighting. We chose one of their private selection wines which was very good, even for its higher price tag of $125.
We would definitely recommend the dining experience and will likely return to include the winery in our next visit.

Very high quality and excellent dishes. We celebrated a birthday there with some delicious appetizers (shrimp and crab cakes, fresh oysters, and winter panzanella salad), entrees (lamb shank, salmon special and ricotta gnudi with scallops) and dessert (vanilla crème brûle and chocolate cake), accompanied by a bottle of the Benjamin Bridge Brut and wine. We really appreciated the local wine offerings and enjoyed their new cocktails as well (Butterfly Spritz and Pisco Pear were favorites). Beautiful view and lovely updated atmosphere. The service was excellent as well, and I would highly recommend the restaurant.

We visited for brunch on Sunday. The mimosa we had as an aperitif was very fresh with freshly squeezed orange juice. For our meal, I had “Lobster Eggs Benedict” while my husband ordered “Avocado & Mushroom Toast”. The lobster was big and the salad was served in a separate small bowl, which was delicious for both the eyes and the palate. The soothing live bass and piano music was a nice addition to the meal, and the waiter was very attentive. Tout était parfait! I’ll definitely come back for dinner.

What a lovely restaurant that aims to provide great service and upscale food. The staff are very friendly, especially the manager. We got fresh bread (small baguette) before we started the meal and it was excellent. They also offer alcohol-free wine which tasted uniquely fragrant but more so like a tasty mocktail spritz than wine. The beet soup was delicious and well seasoned. The mains were also beautifully presented and delicious and we wolfed down the food and were fairly full afterwards. It’s a reasonably new restaurant in the area so it was quite empty and while the decor was nice, we hope it becomes more lively.

Had dinner tonight for the first time in the restaurant. Did not disappoint!
We started with a salad, sorry no pic. Beautiful fresh ingredients, lots of fruit, walnuts and cheese, generous portion.
I had the Parmesan risotto full of peas, fresh asparagus, fiddleheads, and a very healthy dose of Parmesan. Excellent!
For entrees, we had the steak with a fabulous and flavourful au jus with a medley of fresh colourful veggies cooked to perfection.
Also had the trout over a medley of seasonal veggies that were pleasing to the eye and palate. Topping the tout that had the crispiest skin I have ever had was a bread crumb seasoned deep fried soft poached egg. What a beautiful combination of flavours. Wow!
For dessert we had the flourless chocolate sin cake that melted in my mouth and my husband had the cheesecake with apple on top. All baked in house!
Not to mention the wine pairing suggested by our server Kefil was also a very good choice. Service was top-notch, very attentive and accommodating.
Very unique place to enjoy dinner. They have it all, a tasting room, a retail store, a dining room and also a cooking class kitchen!
And not to mention the outdoor space!
Do yourself a favour and book a reservation here at Strewn! You won’t regret it!

My wife and I visited Terroir last Friday and we both chose from the Prix Fixe Holiday Menu and the food was absolutely excellent! The service was perfect! The restaurant has a nice calm, relaxed and elegant atmosphere without appearing too formal. Nice jazz music playing in the background, at just the right volume. Patio was closed for the winter but I’m sure it is beautiful in the summertime.
We both had the soup (parsnip & apple) for our appetizer, while my wife had the vegetarian pasta special and I had the grilled flank steak. Both were exceptional, as were the desserts. We accompanied the meal with a bottle of the Strewn Cab Franc, which is a really nice wine. Highly recommended! We will be back!

NEW HIDDEN GEM IN NOTL!
My husband and I stumbled on this place, as everything else was booked up on Valentine’s Day and a friend who lives in the area had recommended it. We weren’t sure what to expect as we’ve heard mixed things about this place in the past, however, we were pleased to find out that it’s been revamped in 2023 and taken over by the owner, Jane — who you can tell pours all her heart and soul into this place, including putting in a whole new kitchen. The new kitchen team is also absolutely fantastic, as are the staff. We had the most wonderful time, the food was delicious and perfectly presented. Can’t wait to return!

We recently chose Terroir Restaurant to celebrate my husband’s birthday. It was a dining experience to remember from the moment we walked in! We were warmly welcomed by Kafil , our server, who escorted us to a table overlooking the beautiful Four Mile Creek. Our entree of seared ocean scallops, served with butternut squash risotto, caramelized onions and sautéed greens was delicious! Kafil brought us our favourite chardonnay (he knew!) which paired perfectly with the scallops. We finished off with the delightful creme brulee for dessert. Terroir Restaurant is the perfect place for a special celebration or just a fantastic dinner because you deserve a night out! White table linens, lovely ambiance, impeccable service, and an amazing menu. Treat yourself!
