I been going to this joint for years. Great customer service. Delicious soul food in Milwaukee. I ordered some catfish fillets, they were fresh and delicious… however they clearly cut them in half. Just raise the price or sell full fillets. I opened the box disappointed.

When I say the food was slapping slapping that is what I mean. I got the 2 meat combo. Catfish and meatloaf with mashed potatoes, spaghetti, and pinto beans. I added on some greens and dressing. All were so very good. Only thing that kinda threw me off was the dressing had too much sage. Other than that I loved all of the food. They can always get some of my money

We went to Terri Lynn’s on a Sunday, and the experience was so nice. First of all, it was crazy busy. I couldn’t believe the foot traffic coming in and going out. It was bananas!!! As busy as it was, the staff was soooo calm, collected and incredibly friendly. We got the fried chicken, catfish, yams, Mac n cheese, green beans, rice and gravy and so much more. The food was really good and seasoned so well. I will definitely go back!

I had went to Terri Lynn’s on Thanksgiving Day to order 2 dinners. They couldn’t take any orders, only pre-orders, so I was turned away. I tried to call the restaurant on Wednesday to orders dinners and it was closed. Terri Lynn’s could had been specific and post it on the website or on voicemail greeting. I ordered a catfish dinner and a Carmel cake from Terri Lynn’s before. The Carmel wasn’t melted it was crusted with sugar.

Fried chicken and corn bread was good. Collar green no smoked turkey savor al all pinto beans didn’t have any seasoning. I order 2 drinks and the girl gave me my food and I put one drink app there, I added everything app when I sat down, waiting for my food and the total was for 2 drinks, she knew she’s going to charge me for a second train and already paid for shady just shady. Terri Lynn food is delicious but Friday Oct 10 2025. My son treated me to a dinner and I love anything she cook.So I told him to go to my favorite restaurant. Terri Lynn .But whoever the young lady was at the register cashier. Was very rude . It was my son first time visiting. I was shocked I told him that never happened to me or his brother. Terri Lynn is our main restaurant for good soul food. I am going to say this whoever the cashier was. Please remember Terri Lynn is NOT McDonald’s.

My first time giving this place a try and I was happy it turned into a real treat. I had some chicken and dumplings as well as some fried chicken with a few sides. Everything was seasoned well and tasted delicious. To top off the good food everyone in there was pleasant and very inviting. The customer service was excellent. This is a definite return visit for me.

Soul Food “EXPRESS” is RIGHT!! I wasn’t in my seat for a full 3 minutes & my order was ready! I ordered the 4 piece Smothered Chicken Meal with a side of Macaroni & Cheese, & a side of Greens, ALL which was very delicious!! I wish white rice came with it, I ended up having to make some brown rice I had at home, which may have been healthier, but not as good as white rice would have been…..The portion sizes were good for the price of maybe $16, HOWEVER, I was VERY DISAPPOINTED with my “large” order of Chicken & Dumplings, I paid around $7 basically for what looked like mashed potatoes & A LOT of bones!!! This item appeared NOTHING like posted pictures, what I WAS actually able to taste was really good…….

I’ve been a customer for 3 plus years and what has impressed me the most is their customer service and food quality. My only suggestion would be if they stayed consistent with food pricing. If a business needs to increase their prices it’s professional to advertise it. And when placing an order over the phone it would be helpful if the staff knew the price of items. Word of mouth is still makes a huge difference. Overall great experience.

Fried chicken was crispy on the outside and very moist on the inside. Sides are prepared with turkey instead of lard, which I liked. Everyone was super nice. Pictured below: fried chicken plate with green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy and cornbread.
