Absolutely incredible and worth the drive to Athens. Everything is fresh. The flavors are authentic. The steak is cooked perfectly, the bread is fresh and fluffy, the pasta sauces are out of this world! Mashed pototoed were creamy and flavorful. The cannolis were rich and decadent, crunchy and fresh. I want to come again and again to try everything on the menu!! A server walked by our table with the brownie cake and my jaw dropped. Can’t wait to try! My favorite dish was the penne with vodka sauce- you cannot beat that flavor. Delicious! Hate to say it but this is better than Mangia on Zierdt.

We’ve had dinner and lunch on Sundays after church here on multiple occasions and have enjoyed the food each time. The reason I’m rating this restaurant so low is for one reason alone. The owner makes a point to come and converse with every table, which is good for rapport. BUT what is NOT, is the fact that he has reeked of alcohol, liquor by the smell, and was completely red in the face on multiple occasions. Will only be ordering To-Go from here on out if we do decide to spend money there again. I’m a devout Christian and this establishment claims to be of the same nature, but these occurances sure do paint a different picture. Do better.

My mom, daughter, and I went last night around 6:30, about an hour and a half before they closed but the service was excellent. I ordered my daughter the spaghetti and meatball, and I got the Venetian grilled chicken and it was absolutely delicious. It was not dry and was flavor packed! Our server brought out the bread and oil with seasoning and our drinks very promptly. I felt welcome as soon as we walked in and I don’t know if it was because it was Wednesday, but they played some good new Christian music. I loved the atmosphere. We also ordered the mushrooms as the appetizer, everything was great all-around. It wasn’t loud, it was just right.

The food was good! I got the trio platter which featured Chicken Parmesean, Lasagna, and Alfredo. The meat in the lasagna was a bit sweet, and not something I was ever crazy about as I prefer a more spicy sauce but it was good still. We also got the stuffed mushrooms appetizer, they were fairly good. Each visit is accompanied with unlimited bread with olive oil/garlic. Would I go again? Yes. Also the service was exceptional.

In town on vacation and for a Slingshot event and wanted Italian but something we don’t have at home. I found Terranova’s on google maps. I had spaghetti and my hubby had cheese ravioli and both were very good. The fresh baked bread with oil was also delicious. Our waitress was attentive and kept us in drinks. Service was fast. It was a delightful dinner and experience. The decor was unique and appealing.

I’m a huge fan of the Chain. The Madison location has had different issues, but burnt/bad food has never been one.

I’ve eaten at the Athens store several times in the past 4 years, I was so glad they reopened when the store lease in the square didn’t renew. The owner is gracious and funny. My other half is very picky but loves the food here. The atmosphere is casual, and we’re both happy in Jeans, I gave up neck ties when I retired. I would recommend it to anyone. I hope its open a long time into the future. Thanks to Terranova’s for staying in Athens
