Located inside ‘The Wilds’ near Zanesville, OH. Second of two stops along our, roughly, 1hr 45min guided open air bus tour… is a GORGEOUS place grab a bite, use the facilities (second along the tour we went on and the first was an outhouse/portajohn, third/last is at the end of tour near the gift shop), take in the view, and maybe learn something along the way. Perched/nestled, in what seems like the tree tops, atop the park on the 2nd story is the ‘Terrace Grill’. Terrace and bridge like walkways, open to the elements but structurally built to keep them out, large fans placed strategically to maintain a breeze, and the picturesque views make for the ideal place to take it all in and to grab a quick bite while visiting the park. The SHEER PERFECTION of it all makes it a whole lot easier to open the ole wallet to fork out payment for some rather costly meal/snack tabs and to forgive a touch of ditz from the servers… ALSO, It’s always good to keep in mind.. **ALL PROCEEDS GO BACK INTO THE CARE/MAINTENANCE/ UPKEEP/ECT. OF ‘THE WILDS’**… and all those animals sure can’t be cheap to feed.

You can eat Dippin dots and watch cheetas and African wild dogs at the same time. Where else will you find views like this. Pretzels were good and fresh, did not get a burger but they looked aswsome.

I would have wanted something other than hot dogs or hamburgers to eat, such as a cold sandwich in the refirgerator or ice cream. The price for a a hot dog and hamurger was was overpriced !

I got a cheeseburger without cheese because they do not sell hamburgers. The hamburger was good it had lettuce and pickles, you had to get a little packet of ketchup and mustard to put on it yourself. They don’t have french fries just bags of potato chips. They don’t have West Virginia hot dogs just Yankee dogs. The problem is it’s located halfway through the tour on the wilds Safari and when the bus stops you got 20 minutes to walk up the walk and up the ramp order your food eat your food and get back to the bus.

The Wilds is one of our favorite places. The food at the terrace grill was very good and it’s nice to be able to watch the animals while you eat.
