I highly recommend everything about this place from the service to the recommendations on pairings. The food is exquisite. I am by no means of connoisseur food but this really blew us away.

A hidden GEM! Short drive from our small town of Lindale to check out this new restaurant. We were not disappointed. Can’t wait to go back.

We visited Terra Sana for the first time last night and it was a wonderful experience. We ordered the meatballs, focaccia and each had the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and veggies. The steaks were both cooked perfectly. Nice crispy sear on the outside and perfectly pink center. Everything was delicious, excellent service and really charming ambiance. The prices are the best you’ll find for this caliber of dining. We will be back!

Had a really nice date here. The service was fantastic. The food was delicious and came out pretty quickly. We started off with two appetizers, then we had two main courses. We ended up getting the Banana Foster cheesecake which was very delicious. It was quite a bit of food and was presented nicely. The only thing I would change would be upgrading the silverware and the focaccia seemed a little thick. We will be back!

If you haven’t had the opportunity to experience Terra Sana Farm + Kitchen in Ben Wheeler, then I promise you’re definitely missing out.

I had the pleasure of having dinner with some great people (fellow foodies) last night. Although it was a short 30 minute drive, It was so worth it.

I would describe Terra Sana Farm + Kitchen as a restaurant where Italian comfort food meets fresh local ingredients. Every dish felt thoughtful and full of flavor.

We started with the Burrata Salad. It had a rather large piece of creamy burrata cheese, peppery micro greens and arugula, sweet tomatoes, and crispy prosciutto. Everything was drizzled with a balsamic reduction. It was the perfect starter salad.

The Salmon Lemone and Chicken Lemone were both super tender and drenched in a bright lemon butter caper sauce. Paired with creamy mashed potatoes and veggies from the farm. So good!!! Not a single crumb was left behind.

The Farfalle Primavera was another standout dish. Perfectly cooked bow tie pasta, covered in a pesto cream sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, kalamata olives, and pine nuts for that perfect savory bite. It was truly delicious.

Desserts were next level. The Pistachio Ricotta Mousse Cake was light and smooth with just the right amount of sweetness. The Bananas Foster Cheesecake was rich and borderline over the top in the best way possible and the Chocolate Temptation (think Ferrero Rocher vibes) was pure indulgence.

If you’re into fresh ingredients, great Italian, and a cozy, elevated vibe, Terra Sana is an absolute must. I’m already thinking about my next visit.

The service was fantastic by the way. Cami and Kaylynn (probably misspelled) did a phenomenal job!!!

Celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with a wonderful dinner of filet mignon and Chilean Sea Bass. Excellent service. Chef and owner came out to congratulate us and thanked us for dining with them. Will definitely be back, celebration or not.

Yesterday my friends made a reservation at a restaurant in Ben Wheeler, TX called Terra Sana Farm + Table. We got there early to hang out, have a coffee and do some brainstorming prior to dinner. We also asked if there were any cancellations we’d love to move our reservation up. After a while a man in chef’s gear came to where we were sitting. For a fleeting moment we thought our reservation would be moved up. But when he opened his mouth his tone was terse. “I understand you have a reservation at 7:30. What are you going to do with the dog?” I explained that “the dog” is a service dog. His reply “ I can’t have her in the dining room, the tables are too close together. I have the right to refuse service to anyone.” I replied that I would go home and his response was a terse “Good”. If you are handicapped in any way, this restaurant has no space for maneuvering a walker or wheelchair and as I found out, they would rather miss out on promoting community wellbeing than accommodate a service dog that would be under the table at my feet. Their slogan touts family. This not a family I want to be a member of.

I *really* enjoyed everything I had there.

I was NOT prepared for the inside, but it was cute! Eclectic & fun! …but not “the finer side of Italian dining” decor, per se? But, that’s ok! Better to be fun than stuffy. The chairs were uncomfy for my partner, unfortunately (back problems).

We ordered a ravioli dish (an entree, on the menu) to split. They had a dish of the day: a spin on a caprese salad that had pasta & burrata. I *LOVED* it.

Much to my partner’s dismay, there was no simple “spaghetti & meatball” entree, & lasagna is only served on Thursdays (I think? Just one day of the week).
They do have meatballs! But we were told the only way to make a “spaghetti & meatball” happen would be to sub a lot on the dish of the day, which had fusilli pasta (I think?).
So not truly worth it!

They got the steak instead. Unfortunately, it was ordered medium rare & it came out well.
But! The waitress specifically asked how everything was & after my partner mentioned it, the waitress immediately acted caring & wanted to replace it & told us she’d even tell the chef. The next time it came out, it was perfectly cooked.

The wine selection was a little lacking… & it’s hard to pay something like $25 on a bottle of wine you know is probably on sale at Walmart for $8.99
But I suppose I’m just the kinda customer who would do such a thing. lol.

The staff was all so friendly & sweet.
It was a quiet, intimate atmosphere. You can’t be more than 3 feet from the table next to you, but there was a calm vibe & it wasn’t loud or crazy.

I think there must be maybe 12-16 tables there? (Maybe… to the owners: so sorry if I’m way off lol) but we like visiting smaller places like this!

All in all: I want to go again! To be fair, my partner doesn’t lol. But this would be the PERFECT place if you & your bestie wants to have a wine & pasta night, or if you wanna take your mom out for her birthday.

Definitely recommend trying! I will be back 🙂

Absolutely incredible experience at Terra Sana Farm & Kitchen!
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The chef personally came out to talk with us, and the owner joined too. We had such a great conversation about the history of the restaurant and their strong sense of family culture. You can really feel the passion behind everything they do.

The food was outstanding. The meatballs were perfectly seasoned, the lasagna (only available on Thursdays!) was rich and flavorful, and the desserts were phenomenal. The bananas foster and tiramisu cake were both absolute must-tries.

Terra Sana isn’t just a restaurant, it’s an experience built on great food, great people, and genuine hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!
