Bonus points, the counter person was really nice and the vibes in the shop were great.
The dough was airy and light with no flop. The under carriage had a nice char. They have a actual brick oven wood fired pizza. The sauce tasted good and felt fresh. Their home made brownie was on point, especially with the sweetness. Its a steal for such a big one selling for 3$. The owners were very friendly and accommodating as well!!
If Terra Nova is is redirecting customers to a bad business, that’s on Terra Nova for making a bad referral. They need to ADMIT IT. They need to do something to fix it instead of claiming they lack power.
Terra Nova replied to my original negative review with a claim that they never start cooking an order until 20 minutes before it’s due. Let’s do the math. Our order was placed more than an hour in advance and MARKED FOR DELAYED DELIVERY, due at 7:45pm. Therefore Terra Nova ostensibly started the pie at 7:25 or perhaps a bit earlier to accommodate the short travel time. However, the pie was delivered EIGHTEEN MINUTES EARLY, at 7:27! A pie that fresh should have been lava hot enough to melt the skin on the roof of my mouth, but ours was ice cold and soggy. It CLEARLY was not started with an appropriate delay to accommodate the delayed delivery request. If the fault lies with the sub-sub-contractor (Door Dash) for poor handling of delayed delivery requests, it is still Terra Nova’s fault for hiring their subpar service. Terra Nova should not be crying, “it’s not our fault,” as if my review was unfairly holding them responsible for something beyond their control. Choice of contractors *is* within a business’s control, dang it. In addition to promising a refund, Terra Nova should have described what they planned to do about THEIR own poor judgment to hire incompetent contractors. They acted as victims instead of taking responsibility to launch an investigation into what happened in order to protect their brand’s reputation. My review of Terra Nova is dropped down ANOTHER star because their response to the original review was so disappointing.
