Awesome place! We came for dinner on Valentine’s Day and ordered the Terra ceviche, the seafood rice, croquets, and pescado a lo macho. Everything was delicious!!! Such a little gem! We had the tres leches for dessert and it was perfectly balanced too. The portion size was generous and we had half of our entrees to take home at the end of the night. The leftovers are still so delicious today. We’ll be back and bring family next time!

All I can say is WOW! They have a whole gluten free menu! This was one of the most incredible meals I have had in a long time we ordered 3 different dishes that we so incredibly good that I will be thinking about them for a long time. They said they might be including a new gluten free dessert next time request for chocolate and fruit and there is easy parking next door. Excuse the food pictures we couldnt help devouring it immediately before we even thought about taking pictures it was that good!

I’m a fan of Peruvian food. I have visited many Peruvian restaurants in Essex County but in my opinion the best Chicha Morada that you can get is at Terra Restauran in Montclair. We ordered Pescado a lo Macho and Peruvian style seafood rice and both dishes were exquisite.

We came here for a birthday brunch and none of us – not even the pickiest of us – were disappointed. The Passionfruit Salmon sounds strange but it’s subtly sweet and pairs well with a side of rice and tostones. Homemade chicha is wonderful, much better than the bottled stuff. We’re coming back. We wish the owner, his family and the business the best.

The meat dishes were so well seasoned and very well cooked. We had a lamb chops dish and ribeye dish with Huacatay chimichurri. Absolutely delicious! Roasted potatoes were cooked to perfection. Salmon Tiradito was so good and just had a bit of a kick with a nice tart citrus flavor. Very sweet and friendly service staff.

One of the best meals I have had in a while, and it’s a high bar in this area. My salmon tiradito and Mediterranean rolled salmon were amazing and the chicha morada cheesecake was to die for. We will be back for sure.

My friend and I visited Terra for Sunday brunch. We started with the octopus, which was tender and tasty, served with golden roasted potatoes.
My friend ordered the burrata and beet salad while I had the ceviche mixto. Something I found interesting is that they give you the option to add heat at your own risk by providing a spoon with chopped spices. My friend really enjoyed the burrata and roasted beets.
The place is BYOB; street parking available.
It’s only been open a few weeks, and I wish them much success. Friendly service and good suggestions. There’s a beautiful mural at the back of the restaurant.
