Ambiance: cozy and quiet.
Service: nice and helpful
1 star our waitress was very nice.
The decor was charming and atmosphere was pleasant. The bread served made us nervous as it was soft crusted and felt store bought. The Caesar salad was somewhat mid (though the Parmesan in it was yummy).
The pasta dishes however were outstanding! The pasta clearly fresh made and the sauces had a deep flavor, seasoned perfectly and cooked long and slow l – the way a meat sauce should be.
The inside is a very nice surprise! Old school Italian rustic charm. Very cute, and definitely unexpected from the strip mall exterior.
Good and attentive service but our meals were a little slow coming out eventhough they weren’t that busy.
I got the salmon pasta. It was good and creamy but not a lot of salmon. Also no greens or other additions to it so very heavy pasta and sprinkling of crushed salmon pieces was the whole dish. She got the spaghetti tutto mare (seafood) which was lighter and packed with tomatoes so it just kinda depends which dish.
Overall a nice experience and a good meal.
I recently dined at this restaurant with my son and had a bit of a mixed experience. I ordered the scallops, which were flavorful and cooked well. However, I was taken aback by the pickled cucumbers served alongside them. I didn’t expect this addition, and unfortunately, it didn’t complement the dish as I had hoped. I ended up leaving the cucumbers untouched, as they threw off the overall flavor profile for me.
My son opted for the spaghetti with meatballs. While he enjoyed it, he wasn’t overly thrilled with the dish. We both anticipated a bit more from our meals based on the restaurant’s reputation.
Overall, while there were some highlights, the unexpected flavors and lack of excitement in our dishes left us wanting more. I would consider returning to try other menu items, but this experience was a bit of a letdown.
Great for a family gathering, romantic date, or just getting a drink at the bar with both American and international sports playing on the tvs
Nice place and overall nice atmosphere. They have some outside seating (several tables from what I saw). They also have 2 rooms to accommodate parties or special event and a full bar that looked like it stayed busy with their regulars.
We ordered some drinks and my martini was made to perfection (actually both of them lol). I started with a large Caesar Salad (to keep it real not truly large). I think (of course everyone has their own opinions) but the dressing could have been a little creamier but I could taste the anchovies that were mixed into the dressing. Nice but not overpowering. I like anchovies and ordered some on the side.
My wife had their Beet Salad. I think the portion could have been slightly larger but she said it had a good taste. They also provided some freshly baked bread that was really tasty.
My mom (it was her Birthday) ordered their Lasagna and she really enjoyed it. They give a very large serving and she said their red sauce was fantastic. Not heavy but she said it had great flavor. The way it was constructed was also done really well.
I ordered their Fettuccine Primavera with Pesto and fresh vegetables. The waiter asked if I wanted to upgrade for $3 to their fresh made pasta (of course I do) but the dish could have had more pasta, especially since I upgraded but oh well. I liked the flavor but my wife felt that it had to many Pine Nuts.
My wife ordered the Terra Mia Pizza (a 12” Pizza) that had eggplant and mushrooms with a light red sauce. I liked their pizza and felt it was prepared very well.
Since it was my mom’s Birthday, she mentioned she liked Tiramisu so I ordered one to share. The waiters brought it with a candle and sang Happy Birthday in Italian. That was a nice touch. The Tiramisu was delicious. Overall we had a very nice dinner with very good service.
We have been going here for years and it’s just gone downhill we thought that it was a fluke but we returned four more times and every time just seems to get worse the quality of the food was bad the service was bad. After ordering it took over 40 minutes to get the appetizer that should tell you enough… Oh and it was a Thursday and not that busy. It’s definitely more of a family-friendly Sizzler type environment rather than the Italian date night it used to be.
