Our party of 2 dined during Guyana Restaurant Week. I arrived a little before our 6pm reservation and our table was not ready. A little later we checked back with a different host and the table was ready and we were seated. There were people waiting without a reservation hoping to get in, although the hostess had said they were fully booked. I would recommend making a reservation. The waitress was very professional wlecoming us, saying her name, and acknowledging Restaurant Week. Our appetizers came in about 7 minutes and our food in less than 30 minutes. Plating was beautiful and the food was delicious. The service was quick and the food was delicious and appealing.

Starting off with the best, the ambiance is great. The restaurant feels luxurious and is welcoming to locals alongside its hotel guests.
The food however is average. The options vary everyday but I find that there are more options on the weekend. The food can be better. Guyana is the country for seasonings, let’s utilize that chefs of course they offer breakfast for different backgrounds of people so that’s thoughtful.
Parking is free and ample. Reservations are not required.

My experience here was amazing I had a great anniversary buffet dinner the staff were so friendly the service was very fast food and beverages were delicious n tasty many different dishes to choose from n lots of dessert highly recommended for all ur special occasions and they also give u a 15min extra on ur reservation just incase ur running late I will definitely return with my entire family on my next visit

Food is good although not consistent from one visit to the next. Service is generally bad, and prices for any meal other than breakfast are ridiculously high for the quality of the food.

I was there for their breakfast buffet. I am a vegetarian. There were very limited options for me. And the food i chose was very unseasoned. The atmosphere was nice and quiet though.

One of the best places to dine at in GT – Food was always fresh and flavorful – customer service was prompt and friendly and the place was a bright and airy ambiance – Chef Awanish and Karthi went above and beyond to accommodate us and made each meal great – breakfast lunch and dinner are all worth it there

The Terra Mare Restaurant is my favourite place to dine at in GT. The customer service is top notch. The food is phenomenal, the drinks are expertly made. Great ambiance! Chef Sarafina is one of best. All the servers are very professional, courteous and attentive. It is always, and I mean always an exceptional experience when dining at Terra Mare.

A rather disappointing experience for the Marriott brand – our waitress was not very friendly nor did she seem to understand the menu and the items offered. She didn’t know the difference between penne and fettuccine, nor the cream sauce and marinara sauce because she said they were the same thing when we tried to order the creamy penne from the lobby menu. On that note the options offered are limited ESPECIALLY the cocktail list – definitely needs to be updated with the times. I asked If they could make an espresso martini – even though they had all the ingredients I gathered from their menu items – they said no – not a big deal because it was off-menu but could be more accommodating. Moreover the menu is a little confusing we had two menus that had different prices for the same items and on top of that – the lobby menu isn’t clear about what’s pizza or a sandwich in the chefs crafted section. Condiments are on the table wrapped in plastic seals that guest need to struggle to open and pepper served at the table In a take out container ? Just not on brand for a Marriott and the food was sub-par. Grilled chicken breast was way too dry and the broccoli served was mostly stem and not even trimmed down to make palatable. A pleasant surprise was the jerk chicken pizza though. Hope they can improve because I typically go there when I visit but not very keen to return if this is the upkeep.

Good Evening,
I trust that everyone is doing fine. I would love to give reviews on the excellent service provided at the restaurant during the restaurant week. My wife and I have enjoyed the meals that was offered and she love the chicken Alfredo and the prawns. I want to say kudos to the Chef that prepared the meal. My wife would get me if I don’t compliment the server/waitress that was very professional and courteous with her service and laughter which was indeed very comforting and all restaurants need staff like her…..Server’s name is Narisa.
PS: Please give both the chef and server a raise and I would be looking forward to dine again with my family.
