We had the most wonderful and romantic sunset honeymoon dining experience courtesy of Amber. She was very sweet and attentive to us. Amber surprised us with two glasses of champagne to celebrate and treated to a beautiful and decadent chocolate fruit torte to finish our meal. Our service was excellent and the food was nothing short of amazing. The outdoor patio gave us a wonderful view of a gorgeous and colorful sunset. The wait staff were very happy and eager to make sure we got plenty of pictures together to capture the moment. Thank you Amber for making our dining experience go above and beyond!

Be prepared, the kitchen is unwilling to accommodate vegetarian requests. You will be opting for the salad, or the salad. Drinks were good though, bartender is great.

Thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Terra surrounded by natural beauty of the mountains and resort landscaping on the terrace and appreciated the excellent and attentive wait staff! Thanks to the chef for accommodating my my addiction to seafood paella even though it was not the special for our Thursday night visit! Wife enjoyed her scallops after we shared bowl of excellent corn chowder served with a surprise crab cakes. Finally the literal icing on the cake was the chef making complimentary “Death by Chocolate” for our dessert and bringing it with “Happy 32nd Anniversary” written in red chocolate to top off the most enjoyable evening! Thanks to all at Terra!

i stayed at the four seasons rancho encantado and was blown away by their food. their filet mignon was so delicious and paired with some sort of salsa and cheesy fingerling potatoes. their octopus tostada (i think it’s seasonal) was so delicious too! i like the idyllic setting separate from the hustle/bustle of downtown santa fe. ask for their truffle fries if you’re getting the burger!

Come with an appetite! The lavender honey yogurt was phenomenal. I would have eaten a whole bowl of that. The omelette was hearty, chock full of the ingredients I requested. The blue corn pancake was enormous but super tasty, I tried topping with various things like butter, syrup or jam but you can’t go wrong. They also have fresh squeezed orange juice which I couldn’t resist. Easy to park along the curb out front.

I had only dinned here once before a few years ago while enjoying a special Christmas lunch with my family. Since then, I’ve been eager to return to see how this place has held-up since and what they typically have to offer on an average weekend afternoon.
Last weekend, I came in for an afternoon lunch. I was looking forward to being seated in the main dining room, but alas, it was closed and I was seated in the bar area instead. Not such a big deal as the bar area still allows for patrons to look put the windows to enjoy the scenic Tesuque landscape
After being handed my menu, I was not too surprised to see that his place featured a small and modest menu containing only about twenty or so items (appetizers included). Something that is definitely a hallmark trait among many modern and upscale restaurants.
For my meal, I had the tortilla soup as an appetizer and a burger with fries as my entree. The soup was delicious and had a slight kick to it. The garnish and sour cream placed atop the dish is what really made it stand out for me, so definitely nothing to complain about there.
The burger was cooked just as I had requested and the bacon was just as crispy as it was smokey. The fries were also satisfactory, but I wish my waiter had asked me what side I would have liked (as a choice of side is offered) instead of just assuming fries would be adequate enough. I can overlook this as he was the waiter on the floor and had about eight or nine other tables to attend to as well as several bar patrons.
In all, I enjoyed my winter getaway lunch stop at Terra. The atmosphere is near top-notch and the food is just as you would expect for a place of this caliber.

The service was impeccable from the moment we pulled onto the resort. We recieved instruction on the layout of the grounds and where to find the Terra restaurant and the valet parking as an added benefit.
The dinner was served to perfection and all Terra staff made sure we didn’t need or have to ask for much.
