The decor of Terra Restaurant exudes elegance and sophistication, with its tastefully designed interior and a perfect balance of modern and traditional elements. The attention to detail is apparent, from the exquisite table settings to the soft lighting that created an intimate atmosphere. The restaurant’s layout also provides a sense of privacy, allowing each table to enjoy their own personal space.
The staff at Terra Restaurant demonstrated the highest level of professionalism and attentiveness throughout the day. From the moment we were seated, our server made us feel welcome and took the time to explain the menu in detail, offering suggestions and answering any questions we had. The waitstaff’s knowledge and passion for the culinary creations being served was truly commendable.
Now, let’s talk about the food. The menu at Terra Restaurant is a culinary masterpiece, with a focus on locally sourced ingredients and innovative flavor combinations. Each dish that arrived at our table was beautifully presented and bursting with exquisite flavors. From the delicious blue corn pancakes to the perfectly cooked Easter Pie, every bite was a delight to the senses.
In terms of dessert, Terra Restaurant truly excelled. The pastry chef’s creations were a symphony of flavors and textures, and the dessert menu offered a wide variety of options to suit every palate. The bread pudding with ice cream, with its soft and flakey center and decadent caramel sauce, was the perfect way to end the meal on a high note.
While Terra Restaurant delivered an exceptional dining experience overall, I feel compelled to mention that the prices are reflective of the upscale nature of the establishment. However, considering the quality of the food, the impeccable service, and the luxurious ambiance, it is undoubtedly worth the splurge for a special occasion or a truly memorable afternoon.
All in all, Terra Restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel provided an exceptional dining experience that left me thoroughly impressed. From the elegant ambiance and attentive service to the outstanding culinary creations, every aspect of the restaurant exudes excellence. I highly recommend Terra Restaurant to anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience that will tantalize their taste buds and create lasting memories.
Last weekend, I came in for an afternoon lunch. I was looking forward to being seated in the main dining room, but alas, it was closed and I was seated in the bar area instead. Not such a big deal as the bar area still allows for patrons to look put the windows to enjoy the scenic Tesuque landscape
After being handed my menu, I was not too surprised to see that his place featured a small and modest menu containing only about twenty or so items (appetizers included). Something that is definitely a hallmark trait among many modern and upscale restaurants.
For my meal, I had the tortilla soup as an appetizer and a burger with fries as my entree. The soup was delicious and had a slight kick to it. The garnish and sour cream placed atop the dish is what really made it stand out for me, so definitely nothing to complain about there.
The burger was cooked just as I had requested and the bacon was just as crispy as it was smokey. The fries were also satisfactory, but I wish my waiter had asked me what side I would have liked (as a choice of side is offered) instead of just assuming fries would be adequate enough. I can overlook this as he was the waiter on the floor and had about eight or nine other tables to attend to as well as several bar patrons.
In all, I enjoyed my winter getaway lunch stop at Terra. The atmosphere is near top-notch and the food is just as you would expect for a place of this caliber.
The dinner was served to perfection and all Terra staff made sure we didn’t need or have to ask for much.
