Spicy Thai chicken rice bowl is decently spicy. If you don’t like spice, order the chicken breast teriyaki rice bowl. Flavorful and good portion size fir the price. Nice service and atmosphere was clean and brightly lite.

My family and I have been going to Teriyaki to Go for the last 14 years. We are obsessed with their noodles bowls, with no veggies! There was a brief 3 year period within the 14 where their main sauce changed, maybe the recipe changed or was altered. It wasn’t the same and tasted off. We would still order but ask for no sauce, and add our own. But the last 2 years, there sauce has made a comeback. It’s still not the same, but still really good. The place is on the smaller side internally with table and chairs, but they do what they can with the space they have. I love the atmosphere and their personality, always wanting to go up and beyond for everyone that walks through the door. I recently tried their new sushi bar as well and the rolls surprised me, they were beautiful and flavorful. They frequently exceed my expectations.

Delightful place to visit and eat, staff was very helpful and friendly, the food was delicious, we ordered TOGO Special Combo Chicken Tempura Combo which is only listed on the to go menu $19.95, my husband got the same except with Beef $2.00 more, I think it’s the best value for the amount of food you receive, these plates are not on the menu shown on the wall. Enjoy, I know we did.

I have been coming to this place since the mid 90s. It has barely changed, addage of new signage and sushi. But their teriyaki still remains the best in my opinion. I don’t live in Sacramento anymore, but if I’m passing through I make it a point to stop! I love teriyaki to go ❤️ I always get the teriyaki chicken breast noodle bowl .

Love this place. I live at fair oaks and Arden and come all this way, just for tofu teriyaki.. You ask why? It’s all about the sauce.

First time ordering with new owners and very disappointed. Prices went up about 30-40% on most items, while the portion sizes decreased by about half. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone, neither will I ever come back. I ordered a chicken noodle “bowl” which normally was served in a bowl. And now served in a tiny rectangle container. Portion size is about 50% less then what it was before. Also $13 for this? What a shame and rip off!!!

Unfortunately the food I received ended up being pretty bland, with little to no actual flavor on the chicken or in the sauce that had been added to the meal.
Parts of the chicken were pretty charred and it was very dry. My rice was also a bit soggy, that might have been from the sauce that was added, but even the bits without the sauce seemed a tad mushy and were more of a rice patty at the bottom.
The salad was fine enough and the added orange and big slice of tomato was appreciated.
The portion size was generous, with me ending up with leftover food for later, but again it was just sadly unseasoned and tasted more like just dry chicken.
I don’t think that I will end up trying this location again.

This is THE WORST teriyaki I’ve EVER had. They don’t season their meat. It was so bland. Even their sauce had no flavor. The meat wasn’t even cooked all the way! 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Way overpriced for bad food!
