This place is delicious and affordable! An excellent addition to downtown Spokane. The lunch special from 10:00 to 2:00 is super affordable. I was really surprised by the portion size for the price! I definitely will be returning. Not to mention they did a great job with the remodel and it’s very clean!

Ordered (through UberEats) beef and chicken teriyaki and there was no sauce on the food. Good thing I asked for extra sauce on the side or this would have been drier than dry. The portion is decent for the price though.

I travel for work quite a bit and am a frequent enjoyer of teriyaki restaurants. Not quite a teriyaki connoisseur, but close. I also don’t often leave reviews but I always try to when a place is notably better than average, which this was.
Just to establish a baseline of what I am used to: a lot of highly regarded teriyaki places often have that taste that seems like their grills haven’t been cleaned in a decade. The beef is usually so tough you can barely chew it. The chicken tastes like it sat at room temp for 24 hrs before cooked. The rice is mushy and cold.
So when I say this place is better than average, none of the above applies. The meats were on point and genuinely good. The sticky rice was fire. The included salad didn’t have any brown bits. An absolute treat.
I’m not being sarcastic. Maybe the bar is low, but this place is good.
Oh and most importantly, they included a plastic fork in my door dash order even though I forgot to ask for it. Most places don’t include it even when I specifically ask.
Absolute W. I really don’t enjoy going to Spokane given the outrageously aggressive drivers, dismal vibes and its proximity to the middle of freaking nowhere, but I’ll make sure to get food from this place again.

Teriyaki Spice is open downtown on 2nd in the old Rusty’s Diner location! There is free parking!! Some of these pictures are from the Airway Heights location. It’s nice having this closer to home saving a trip to windy Airway. Flavors are delicious… I love the perfect amount of charbroiled yummy. Zero complaints, honestly. The flan… It’s not your mama’s flan, which is always the best flan… but it’s pretty good!

I’m sad because I liked your guyses Katsu it was my favorite until tonight. I just had to force myself to throw up my dinner as I bit into a piece of undercooked chicken and noticed an even MORE undercooked piece right next to it.
I’m just glad I noticed it before I finished my meal and contracted salmonella or food poisoning.
