The food is so good here , I make a purpose to stop here whenever I’m in the area – and I live in Ohio! Nice portions of teriyaki that reminded me of my days in the Pacific Northwest.

I trird this place for the first time 2 months ago and I loved it and I kept going back and picking up multiple orders even sharing it with family.

I’m a new grandmother to a 2-week-old infant and I’m babysitting my granddaughter today to give my daughter rest.

It’s 1:45 in the afternoon and I haven’t eaten at all today. So I doordash chicken teriyaki. I receive it & there’s no teriyaki sauce on my food at all. I called to alert a supervisor of this & they didn’t seem to care. So it seems that you only get your food made properly when you are in the restaurant. When you doordash food they do whatever because they don’t care because it’s already left them and they don’t have to face you.

This is extremely disappointing and I’m so upset. I won’t go back again. They just lost what was a loyal customer. And I’m going to make sure that I tell everyone who has an ear not to even go here. Especially after the way the supervisor just talked to me like it was okay that I’m paying for this meal and it’s not what I asked for.

It completely defeats the purpose to give me this! So I had fried rice and sauteed meat and vegetables with no flavor because they did not put my teriyaki sauce over the top of the food like they have done every other time that I’ve gone inside. The teriyaki sauce is the flavor!

So if you decide to eat here make sure you go inside because if you doordash it you’re not going to get what you asked for and they don’t seem to care!

The supervisor even tried to tell me maybe my sauce dried up. No it didn’t because it wasn’t added. You can look at the photos of my food and you do not see teriyaki sauce on it at all. Teriyaki sauce is brown and visible. They literally pour it on the top and you can’t miss it. It doesn’t dry up. It was never put on my food.
Just scroll down and take a look at all the other photos of customers showing their chicken teriyaki! You can see the sauce on their food and look at mine. The difference is apparent because I was never given my teriyaki sauce which is all the damn flavor!

Pretty self explanatory, I would only go for the chicken teriyaki special. Good amount of food for the special price, nothing special. If you are in the mood, I would swing by to try.

If you are on the hunt for a meal that is consistently delicious, served with a genuine smile, and makes you feel like a valued regular from your very first visit, then look no further than Teriyaki One . From the moment you walk in, the experience is a perfect 10 out of 10. The quality of the food is matched only by the quality of the people working there, who are not just polite but incredibly nice, always ensuring you have everything you need. It’s a rare gem in the food scene where every single element is executed flawlessly, creating a dining experience that you will find yourself craving again and again.

Let’s talk about the most important part: the food is absolutely phenomenal. My go-to order, and one I would recommend to anyone, is the teriyaki chicken. The chicken is always perfectly grilled, tender, and smothered in a teriyaki sauce that strikes the ideal balance between sweet and savory. But the real game-changer for me is adding a little bit of their hibachi hot sauce on the side. The combination of the savory teriyaki with that spicy, buttery kick is nothing short of magical. Every single time, my meal is served fresh and piping hot, proving their commitment to quality and care with every order they prepare.

Beyond the incredible food, what truly sets Teriyaki 1 apart is the wonderful staff. They have a way of making you feel right at home, often offering me more sauce or a drink refill before I even have to ask. The atmosphere is so warm and friendly that sometimes we even crack jokes while I’m ordering. This isn’t a place where you feel like just another transaction; it feels like you’re being served by people who truly enjoy what they do and who they serve. This level of personal, cheerful service is a breath of fresh air and makes every visit a bright spot in my day.

Another huge advantage is the convenience. Despite how amazing the food is, the line is never prohibitively long, meaning you can get your hands on this fantastic meal without a lengthy wait. This makes it a perfect spot for a quick lunch break or a easy, satisfying dinner after a long day. The efficiency of the service, combined with the inviting demeanor of the staff, ensures that your experience is smooth and enjoyable from the moment you step in to the moment you leave with your delicious, hot food in hand.

In a world of mediocre and impersonal takeout options, Teriyaki Won is a shining beacon of excellence. The food tastes so good it’s almost addictive, particularly that teriyaki chicken with a side of hibachi hot sauce. If you haven’t tried it, you are truly missing out. So, tell me I’m wrong, but I doubt you will. From a scale of one to ten, I give them a solid, unwavering 10. I cannot recommend Teriyaki Won highly enough; it is, without a doubt, my favorite spot.

I was there around 12 for my lunch and I placed my order. As I follow my tray to the end I asked the last guy to skip the sauce on my plate he completely lost his mind. He started screaming at me screaming NO SAUCE! He slammed my plate and aggressively flexed at me with his fists clenched. He then walked to the back of the kitchen and came back still screaming at me NO SAUCE NO SAUCE. The rest of the crew had to hold him back. Witnesses were all over the restaurant and saw he had 0 self control and this is no way to treat a customer. I felt threatened embarrassed and offended by this behavior from this young kid. The manager should address this situation before something serious happens in the future to any other customer

I visited this location on 11/23/2025 around 8 PM for the first time and had a very uncomfortable experience. While I was waiting for my food, the shorter male employee (asian?) with very fair skin and black hair who was packaging orders mocked my involuntary movements caused by a medical condition. He then said something in his language to another employee preparing food, and they both laughed while looking at me.

When my number was called and I stepped up to the counter, the behavior continued. I tried to lighten the situation by asking how his day was going, and he responded in perfect english, making it clear that this was not a misunderstanding, and very intentional.

I left feeling hurt and humiliated. There is no excuse for this type of behavior. I sincerely hope management addresses this because no one should ever be treated this way.

Very similar to Sarku except they also have poke bowls.

I came during Grand Opening and they had a chicken teriyaki special.

The place was clean and service was fast and friendly.

Price and taste were on par with what I expect from fast food. I wish they also offered brown rice as an option.

3.5 stars but rounding up

Teriyaki One is similar to Sarku Japan in terms of food selection and preparation…asides from poke bowls being served. Ordered the chicken and beef teriyaki, while it filled me up, there’s nothing bad/good to say about it. Staff is very friendly compared to other fast food establishments where they prioritize speed over friendliness which is a plus, but overall Teriyaki One is just okay for the price you pay.

For the price, flavor, and texture, Teriyaki One is worth the five stars I’m giving it now. The employees are friendly and voice clear questions & answers to both customers and employees alike. I had 2 special rolls – the “green dragon” and the “angry dragon.” Those two rolls were surprisingly enough to fill me up. My boyfriend ordered a “salmon bento” and the cashier put in sushi rice instead of white rice as a nice bonus, after mentioning that he (my boyfriend) liked sushi rice.

Some advice:
Update the menu both in-store and online as they aren’t accurate. For example, the spicy mayo on top of the “angry dragon” was not listed, and I would’ve asked that it be made without any spicy mayo had I known. Second, although the presentation of the wasabi cushioned between the roll and the ginger is indeed aesthetic, it can be annoying to get the wasabi off the roll (for people who don’t prefer western wasabi).

Notes to the customers:
It’s not a pricier place, so you won’t get much eel in the “green dragon,” but it still has a nice crunch and eel sauce flavor. I wouldn’t recommend visiting for the ambience – it is loud with the sound of prepping, cooking, and ordering. The interior has the bare minimum – tables, chairs, garbage cans, condiments, etc. Meanwhile, everything else is naked. However, this place is understandably new – so I would suggest you stay for the food.
